"Summer Haven" is a beautiful, lakeside Home on Duck Lake, a picturesque 1930 acre all-sports lake near Traverse City. This comfortable, fully air-conditioned 4 bedroom, 3 bath Home is nestled among a canopy of tall maples on a quiet residential peninsula that is just perfect for your family vacation, ski trips, or golf outings.
A spacious, family-sized deck beckons you to start your first morning with coffee and breakfast sitting outside watching as the sun rises over the lake. Take a canoe out for an early morning cruise on the lake and listen to and watch the many birds that call Duck Lake home - loons, geese, and bald eagles are frequent visitors here.
The Home is separated into 2 large living areas, with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath on the lower level, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the upper level, and 2 sofa beds (full and Queen), one on each level. The large sunroom overlooking the lake is a great place to gather with the family to plan your day's activities or share memories of your day. The entire group will enjoy the large, level backyard for playing games, just relaxing and enjoying the view, or taking the gang out from your private dock for a day of fishing and boating.
A canoe is included for your use. Fishing boats, trampolines, jet skis and pontoon boats can be rented from local marinas to be delivered to your dock. Tennis courts are located in the peninsula's park, and picturesque, safe roads for biking are added amenities for guests staying at "Summer Haven".
