When you finally retire for the evening, you will look forward to nestling into your luxury "Sealy Back-Saver Beds" (king or twin). Complimentary delicious organic apple juice, distilled water, peppermint soaps and homemade handcreams are provided. Weekly guests enjoy the complimentary edible and medicinal herb walks.
The cabin is only a short walk to the Appalachian Trail, on one of the highest (6,285 feet) and most scenic mountains in the Eastern U.S. Take a walk on the many beautiful trails, some with 360 degree views of endless peaks over 5,000 feet, and visit the largest natural stand of pink and purple Catawba rhododendron in the world. The cabin is located on 19 private acres surrounded by Cherokee National Forest and just 2.8 miles from Roan Mountain State Park Resort, which offers day and evening tennis, swimming pool, volley ball, trout fishing, nature walks, hiking trails, programmed activities and a conference center. You are only a short drive to Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Banner Elk, Linville Falls, Penland School of Crafts and much, much more.

It is where all we see is the lush green rolling mountain ridges, so awe-inspiring and inviting. It is a place of peace and solitude which brings comfort to our souls -- nothing but pure nature to soak up, an escape from the stresses of civilization, and the freedom to meditate on one !s own thoughts without the distractions of the world. What joy this kind of place provides. A real treasure.
