This property lived up to its photos. The furnishings were lovely and the rooms were well appointed! Liz & Mike were delightful and left information and recommendations for the nearby restaurants. We easily walked to the Mag Mile and Millenium Park; took the 'L' -just around the corner-to downtown. Parking could be an issue, but, we arrived at mid-day & had no problems with parking two cars on the street. The kitchen was well supplied and breakfast foods were enjoyed by all. We would chose to stay there again and would recommend it to our friends.

Look no further for a vacation rental home in Chicago! The location is right in Old Town, walking distance to the Lincoln Park, North Beach resturants, second city, supermarket, etc. The owners Liz and Mike are the best, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. It has everything you want, 4br 4ba, private deck over looking the Chicago skyline and all, total privacy. If you want an experience like living as a Chicagoan in an awesome neighborhood, this is it. Don't worry if need to do all the touristy stuff Mag Mile, Loop, Bean, Navy Pier, etc... is just a short 3-5 stop train ride around the corner or a short taxi ride. Thanks Liz and Mike for having us, my family and all the kids had a great time!

An incredible property in an absolutely ideal location in Old Town. Michael and Liz are a pleasure to work with and made our stay as easy as can be. Michael and Liz are also a wealth of information and an absolute joy to be around. The house is even more impressive in person and has one of the best rooftop views you'll see of Chicago. The decorations are amazing and lots of fun to peruse... the same can be said for the record player and the terrific record collection. I hosted a group of 10 people and there was plenty of room for everyone and all rooms are top notch. I absolutely recommend it and look forward to staying there again.

This is a very cool property with great owners. I had a group of friends in town and we rented the entire guest house for a weekend. Liz and Mike were incredibly welcoming and helpful and stocked the kitchen with breakfast food, coffee, cookies, etc. The house was clean and has lots of cool and interesting decorations. The roof top deck has an amazing view of the city and is definitely something worth taking advantage of if the weather is nice. The house is in an incredible part of the city, with restaurants and activities for people of all ages.

My friends and I just spent 5 wonderful "girlfriend" days at Old Town Chicago. This beautifully appointed home is exactly as described. The living room is warm and inviting creating a great space for gathering and talking which girlfriends need. The well stocked kitchen made the morning so pleasurable and is such a great perk! The beds are comfy, cozy and although you want to stay tucked in....... the city of Chicago is calling you. Location, location location!! You are withing walking distance to the "L" trains which will take you downtown or all the way north to Wilmette. You can also walk to "Old Town" where there are a plethera of restaurants and night spots. And then there is the Lincoln Park Zoo!! Michael and Liz are gentle, caring hosts and their attention to detail like maps and restaurant suggestions is invaluable and makes the unfamiliar comfortable and stress free. I would highly recommend this rental and will definately stay here again. Cudos and thanks Liz and Michael.

The place was great! Lizz and Mike were great hosts/landlord/rentors. The furniture and decor was very worldly and elegant. They provided food, great conversation and also had the place all set up for our arrival. The location was perfect: walking distance to the beach, a block away from Old Town restaurants and the best part all cabs knew where the location was without explaining to them the major crossroads. Thanks again Mike and Lizz, we all had a great time!
