We were a little nervous renting property sight unseen however the house was exactly as pictured on the VRBO website. The Owners were easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had ,and provided us with all information in advance of our trip. We made a great selection renting this property . The house was roomy, clean and comfortable . We loved the screened in pool/spa and game room. We had some concerns on the safety of the pool as we have young grandchildren, however the door locks and chimes when open to the pool and the pool gate is so secure we never worried the whole week. Good location of the house is close to stores, restaurants and minutes from golf and Disney Parks. Reasonable rates recommend to all who visit Orlando.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We throughly enjoyed your home for our family reunion and then my families vacation. The Christmas tree was a big hit and the home was beautiful. Close to everything you need with all the amenities. We had enough room for 13 and then even it enjoyed it more with 6 (quiet). Thank you so much for sharing your home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

What can you say about a vacation that not only brings family together but does it in such a way that we are thinking of doing this again. I can say that the house was more than what we expected, I truly was leary on doing the house rental but upon walking in to the home I knew we made the right decision. It had everything we could think of and then some things that we hadn't. I appreciate the fact that the rooms were large, comfortable, and the house all together was well kept. I know we came with many young children and there was plenty for us to do inside and outside the home. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the area, it was convenient to most if not all stores, with a 7-11 right on the corner, Walmart to the left and right of us and right off of a main interstate. Who could ask for anything more is all I could say...Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We LOVED this property! We are a family of 8 and we had more than enough room in this spacious house. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. We knew exactly what to expect from the information we received beforehand and never had any problems throughout the week. Kids loved the pool and game room, and all ages enjoyed the sauna. It was very conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with a grocery store, Walgreens and walk-in clinic all close, and the drive to the parks was easy. We actually wish we had had more time to relax at this house during our first Disney trip. We would love to stay at this property again and highly recommend it to families!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Just got back from a very nice vacation in Florida. A highlight of this trip was this house, it had everything we could have wanted in a rental home. We are a family of 8 with children ranging in age from 6 to 15 and we had plenty of space. This house is just as nice as pictured and very spacious. I want to thank the owners John and Kellie for all their help with my numerous questions. There are so many homes to choose from in the Disney area that it can be a little over whelming, I am glad we chose Citrus Palms and would not hesitate to go back to this very same house next trip to Orlando. . The game room, pool toys, beach towels and beach toys all came in handy so all we needed to do was go to the grocery store. There is a very nice one two blocks away. We heated the spa and totally enjoyed it as well as the pool, we had a family of ducks visiting us every day from the pond behind the house. Great Place! Wish we were still there! Thank you again, Sue K.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We stayed from March 25-April 4, 2011. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. The house was better than expected! Very large, tastefully decorated, well equipped, and well maintained. The master suite was awesome! We enjoyed the pool and spa daily. We stayed an extra day to make up for the 2 we lost due to poor (tornado watch!!) weather. The neighbourhood was quiet and clean. There is a Super WalMart close by to get most of your supplies, and a Sweetbay supermarket even closer! (Quality of food at Sweetbay is MUCH better than that of Wal Mart...the marginally higher prices are worth it. Get your booze at Wal Mart.). (***** Canadians.....their ground beef is verrrrry expensive. And gross...don't buy the "regular".) This house was a great "home away from home". Kellie was incredibly accomodating, and quick to respond to e mails with questions. The lake out back was interesting..Lots of frogs, birds and fish (carp?). We also had an alleged gator sighting! A whole lot of little lizards visit frequently, they are pretty cool! The ONLY issue we were not really happy with was on our LAST DAY the pool got cleaned, and we weren't allowed to use it for 12 hours after. The guy was a little ..... not very nice. But we were supposed to leave the day before, so I think it was scheduled ahead of time. A mid week visit from him would have been appreciated. When visiting the area, try to get to the Disney Parks (especially if you've never been or you have younger kids! ) For exciting rides, get to the Universal Parks or Busch Gardens. The Fun Spot was ok, mostly old carnival rides and 5 go cart tracks. It was kind of low key, not too exciting. Cheapish entertainment, kind of dirty. Disney and Universal are close by (less than 30 minute drive)-Buy multi-day and -park passes, too much to see... Beaches were within a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive. (Clearwater on the Gulf Side, and Cocoa on the Ocean side) There may be closer, but those are the 2 we visited. If we visit Clermont again, we will absolutely try to stay at Citrus Palms, and would HIGHLY recommend this spot to family and friends!!! Thanks, Kellie and John!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

While the overall house was nicely decorated and we were overall happy there were a few major problems. The beds in both the twin bedrooms are terrible, only about 2 inches thick, so those who slept in those beds did not sleep well. Everything was low end builders grade so the baths only had single sinks, with no counter space. The twin bedrooms only had a tiny space for personal items, so we basically lived out of our suitcase. We had problems with the ice-maker, when the person came to fix it, he said that model only drops a few at a time, about four times a day, for about 30 cubes a day, I said you are joking and he said no, so be prepared to have lots of ice on hand. We also told him the freezer was not keeping food frozen and he told us we put too much warm items in it. We put ice, ice cream, and frozen pizza, none of which I consider warm items. The house was overall clean, except for the air vents, especially the ceiling one in the family room. There is very limited parking so do not take too many cars.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.
