When you arrive at this tropical paradise you will find everything you need to truly enjoy your time on the beautiful island of Maui. This spacious end unit is located in a very quiet complex just across from beautiful Napili Bay (truly a hidden secret on Maui). From the granite countertops in the kitchen to the large deck surrounded by tropical trees to the luxurious linens on the Tempur-Pedic king and queen size beds, you may find yourself not wanting to leave!
If you want to see sea turtles, you can see them from the shores of Honokeana Bay just south of Napili Bay - or you can jump in the warm water to see them up close. Just to the north, you can snorkel, scuba dive or even rent a sea kayak and explore the reef at Kapalua Bay. And don't forget to body surf, boogie board or skim board on the great sandy shores of Napili Bay. Great surfing is just a short drive north to Honolua Bay. This quiet complex is also surrounded by the Kapalua Golf Club Bay Course.
Start your morning with a great walk along the sidewalk through the Kapalua Resort as you look out at the blue Pacific Ocean or get in line before 7:30 am to enjoy a fantastic breakfast at the Gazebo Restaurant in Napili Shores Resort. Relax in the evening while barbecuing on the spacious deck or sip some wine on the outdoor patio at Merriman's while staring off at the island of Molokai (you might even spot a whale or two).
If you decide to bring the kids, the third bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds to sleep four. And for those who can't leave home without checking in at work, we provide wireless access and free long distance phone service. The two car garage makes it especially easy to load and unload your golf clubs, beach toys, snorkel gear or whatever else you find yourself enjoying while on this beautiful island.
We hope you enjoy your next vacation at our peaceful spot in paradise!

I've traveled to Maui a number of times and have found the Napili bay location as my favorite. What a great find was this Napili Garden townhome. I'll never stay at one of the resorts or other smaller properties again. This home is well equipped from the kitchen to the beach chairs and beach toys in the garage. High quality mattresses’ in the bedrooms are an added plus. You can walk to three excellent snorkeling spots. The general store is steps away and the Napili Market grocery store is less than 10mins away. We mainly cooked our meals at the house and enjoyed them on the large patio. A BBQ grill exists on the patio and we used that often. We walked to so nearby eateries on the bay, Seahouse and Gazebo. I short drive through Kapalua you’ll find an excellent Japanese restaurant. Great location, great house, great value. Look forward to my return!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a fabulous vacation in this great townhouse. Our group had a total of seven (3 adults, 4 teens) and we all fit in fabulously. The beds were super comfortable, better than our beds at home! The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could imagine using. The bbq and deck were great and we used them daily...very peaceful! The TVs were plentiful and worked well, we enjoyed watching the Olympics in the evenings. We also loved the location. Just a very short walk (a few minutes) to three different beaches for snorkeling! The snorkeling was amazing, miles and miles of bright and beautiful coral, calm warm water and tons of sea life. We saw many eels, turtles, and lots of different kinds of fish. My teens had fun walking to the diving cliffs just past Kapalua, and we all enjoyed the cliff walks right from the townhouse. We did drive to do surfing, but most of the time we didn't even use our car. The townhouse also has this amazing garage full of beach toys, plus a super useful washer and dryer. Also a hose to wash off before going back inside. All together, this is a fabulous place to stay for families in Maui and we would stay here again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My family of 3 (husband, our 9 month old & I) along with our friends (also family of 3) rented this condo for a week for our first family vacation. Booking & arranging the travel plans & details was a breeze with JM. He answered every question via email & phone in a quick timely manner. We arrived at the condo and felt at home & comfortable the minute we walked in. The place was very clean, decorated in a cute island beachy theme and had all the amenities of home. Fully stocked kitchen with a high chair for the kids, nice deck with charcoal BBQ, board games/puzzles/books. The bedrooms were great size, ceiling fans in each room which came in handy with the bedrooms being on the upper floor. The closets were fully stocked with extra blankets, pillows, more fans, toys in the kids rooms and a pack-n-play which was perfect for our daughter. The bathrooms were clean, fully stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. The 2 car garage housed a full size washer/dryer and tons of beach toys, beach towels, boogie boards, folding beach chairs, etc. The size was perfect for all 6 of us, we had plenty of room to stretch out and have our own space/bathrooms/etc. The location to the beach (Napili Bay) was a quick 2 minute walk, so nice when traveling with young children. Easy to spend the morning at the beach, walk back to the condo for nap time, then head back out to enjoy the rest of the day. The beach was very nice, not to crowded, lots of families. Napili Bay was great for snorkeling. Saw sea turtles & could see whales off in the distance while lounging on the beach. We stocked up on groceries at Costco (near the OGG airport) and Safeway and cooked most of our meals at the condo. We did venture out for a date breakfast one morning to the Gazebo resturant. Walking distance from the condo, right on the beach, they serve up the best macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup. We also stopped at The Coffee Store for our morning coffee and afternoon icy blended drinks most days. A quick jog or drive from the condo. A sweet surprise from my husband a spa day at The Ritz Carlton just a 5 minute drive from the condo! All in all it was a sweet relaxing vacation. Everything was already thought of; all we had to do was relax & enjoy it!! Will definitely be staying here again if we vacation to Maui in the future!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

I just stayed at the Kapalua Villas because I could not get the dates I wanted at this property. I have stayed here before and wanted to return. Unfortunately, I ended up at the Kapalua Villas. The view of the ocean was great, but the location was not nearly as nice as Napili Gardens. I will take the location over the view anytime. Being able to walk to Napili Bay is so nice. If you are thinking of staying at Kapalua, you should definitely reconsider and stay at Napili Gardens.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My two adult children and their spouses and I stayed at the Johnson's in Maui for a week in March 2011. JM was very accommodating and we enjoyed the property a lot, especially the kitchen and the beach chairs, boogie boards and mats in the garage. The Tsunami turned out to be a non event, but we met a lot of nice people hanging out in the parking lot of the convenience store all night. My only down points are that the coffee maker was not large enough for 5 drinkers and that the air conditioner compressor is very noisy, making it necessary to turn it off to enjoy the back patio for meals. We also enjoyed the glimpse into local life provided by the neighbors out back (very friendly) with their chickens and cats. The third bedroom is set up for young children with bunk beds and tons of toys. We would stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We have been coming to Maui for 27 years and have stayed in resorts and in privately owned condominiums. We have spent the last few years at various units at Napili Gardens. What a great find! Just steps away from Napili Kai Resort, but at less than half the price. The condos at Napili Gardens are so nice since they have a two car garage for storing our beach gear and board rentals. The floor plans of these units are nice since the bedrooms are on a separate floor from the kitchen and living room. The owners of this particular rental have done a fabulous job of remodeling and furnishing this place. They have a huge deck out back, the granite countertops in the kitchen are so nice, and they even provide beach towels, shampoo, and it seems like everything we needed (except our own clothes). We especially liked the fact that they have plush carpet in the living room and stone flooring in the entry and dining room. The furniture is so comfortable - we shared many naps on the sectional. After sleeping on the tempur pedic beds, we decided to buy some for our own home. We must say that this is the nicest unit at Napili Gardens, and certainly one of the nicest spots on the entire island. We plan to keep coming back for years to come! One time we locked ourselves out of the unit. We called the cleaning company, PWC, and they sent someone out within 15 minutes to open the place for us. I almost forgot, the morning walk along the sidewalk heading north through Kapalua is fantastic. You get a great workout and you have an unbelievable view of the Pacific Ocean. You can even take a lower trail off the beaten path that lets you walk even closer to the ocean.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My family and I spent 6 days in the condo during New Year's week. Price was right, and it definitely accomodated the 7 of us, including grandparents and a 5 and a 2 year old. Each of us had enough space to spread out when we were "home," which wasn't often! The beach is so conveniently located to the condo that we were able to walk there in the morning, return for lunch and a nap for the kids, and go back later in the afternooon to see the sun set. The washer and dryer in the garage were great to have, as well as the selection of boogie boards, beach mats, toys, and coolers. Our kids loved having the great variety of toys available to them, and the toys and DVD selection helped to keep them entertained while we were cooking and lounging. This was our second trip to Hawaii, but our first time staying on Maui. We had spent the week of Christmas on Oahu, where it happened to be rainy and a little cool. The weather in Napili and Lahaina did not disappoint any of us. Thanks to the warm sunshine, we were able to do a beach day everyday and even took a trip to see the volcano at Haleakala National Park. Our favorite time during the trip was spent snorkeling the reef right across the street at Napili Bay. We also enjoyed snorkeling to look for sea glass, which made a beautiful souvenir for us. Lahaina is a nice beachside town that was neat to visit. Taking your picture under the banyan tree is a must. We also purchased a print from Jim Kingwell's Island Art Collection (the same one that is hanging in the condo!) to hang in our sunroom as a memory from our trip. We highly recommend this condo for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and location. The owners were very easy to work with, albeit a little hard to reach at times. My brother forgot his laptop in the condo, and they even sent it back to him, with no questions asked. We appreciated them opening their house to us during our multigenerational family trip. What an amazing way to spend the holidays, while Wisconsin was snowcovered and cold. We can't wait to come back!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We love our Jim Kingwell art and have brought some back to the mainland as well. We have changed our email service provider in order to avoid future difficulties with guests being able to reach us. We also provide a mobile phone number to guests that can be used at any time if there are any issues.

Our family vacation to Maui was fantastic. The condo was clean, well stocked with good linens, and ample kitchen equipment. There was even an espresso machine that saved me a trip to Starbucks in the mornings! It did not feel like a rental, but my own personal condo. We walked to the beach and snorkeled-- sweet sea turtles. The 2 car garage made it very convenient to wash out sandy chairs and towels from the beach. It looked like most of the condos were owner occupied so it was very quiet.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Our hope is that future renters will find our quiet complex makes their stay in Maui very relaxing as well.

We stayed at this condo with our family and it was wonderful. You have access right across the street to two beautiful sand beaches. It is off the beaten path of Lahaina and Kaanapali but only minutes down the road. We enjoyed several meals staying in as the very nice kitchen, dining and adjoining family room more than accomodated our family of five. It has a wood deck in the back perfect for BBQ and just relaxing. Walk across the street for breakfast at the "Gazebo" - unforgettable food and views! We enjoyed easy access to all the rest that Maui has to offer - snorkeling (right across the street), golf (just down the road at Kapalua), diving (several places), shopping, dining (mostly in Kaanapali and Lahaina), etc. A great find and a great price!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We have a family of five as well, and we truly enjoy the times we can spend at our vacation home. We have to agree, the breakfast at the Gazebo is truly delicious!

About the owner: We spent our honeymoon on the island of Maui. Before our kids arrived, we stayed at hotels and resorts most of the time. After having kids, we still found ourselves going to Maui but had difficulty finding reasonably priced accommodations with multiple bedrooms and a full kitchen with easy access to a nice beach. We decided to purchase this beautiful townhome so that we could truly enjoy our vacations with our family and have others enjoy it as well!
Why the Owner Chose Napili:
We purchased this vacation rental due to the great location, peaceful setting and easy access to so many different activities. Napili is generally cooler than other parts of west Maui, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the weather. Within walking distance you will find three great beaches that each have a unique quality and several great restaurants. Within a short drive you will have access to world class golfing, surfing, scuba diving, dining, parasailing and beautiful Lahaina Town and The Whaler's Village in Kaanapali.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our townhome is one of just 16 homes in this quiet complex. We have one of the only end units that is used as a vacation rental which provides for an added level of privacy in both the entry and large back deck.
