This lovely, waterfront villa is newly furnished and situated on a peaceful cul-de-sac in the South Gulf Cove area with quick access to Port Charlotte Harbor. Our house has a wonderful and spacious open floor plan. The great room overlooks the private, heated pool , enclosed screened lanai and the canal. The villa has three bedrooms and two baths. The open master bedroom has an en suite bath and queen-size bed, a second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The villa also has a separate office equipped with printer, separate phone line, and high-speed DSL/wireless connection, which is ideal for those that need to occasionally check their business e-mail. It also has a futon for that unexpected guest or teenager. The well-appointed kitchen has a breakfast bar and informal dining area. There is also a separate formal dining room as well.
The house overlooks a peaceful canal which provides quick access to Charlotte Harbor and open water to the Gulf of Mexico by boat. Boating enthusiasts or "First Timers" can hire a boat and tie it up at your own boat dock along side the house. Boat delivery can be arranged to your dock as well as a boat operating lesson. Fishing can be enjoyed from the boat deck, as well as from local fishing charters. Fabulous white sandy beaches with warm waters are within a 15-minute drive away at Boca Grande and Englewood. Kayaking, tennis, and golfing to suit all levels are also close at hand. There are two bikes available to explore the neighborhood.
Port Charlotte, Englewood, Venice, and Sarasota are a short driving distance away, where restaurants, varied shopping, theaters, cinemas, and art galleries can be enjoyed.
The international airport of Tampa is one hour and 30 minutes, Orlando two hours and 30 minutes, Miami three hours and 30 minutes. The local airports of Sarasota and Fort Myers are about 45 minutes.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We purchased “Calypso” about 3 years ago and just about everything is new, so the house has a very clean, well kept feel to it. After living abroad in Europe and Australia we know what vacationers expect when renting a villa. So, the house has a well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, food wrap/aluminum foil, spices, cooking oils etc. You will also find bicycles, beach chairs, coolers, CDs, DVDs, etc. to make your visit that much easier. We also have an office set-up with wireless Internet and a printer and a futon that opens to a double bed.

We are a family of four who are passionate about travel. Living in wonderful Colorado we had to find a perfect sea-side getaway where we could indulge in our love of the ocean. South Gulf Cove is an extremely friendly and quite community that is very close to gorgeous beaches, boating, shelling, fishing, golf, tennis, shopping, fine dining, and much more.
