Located on Troncones, a small beach town just 20 minutes from Ixtapa, is Casa delle Forchette, a country Italian-style home. Enter from a beautiful garden setting to this unique, two-bedroom home with stucco walls and beamed ceilings, and you will look straight through to the Pacific Ocean. Built at a high point right on the beach, the living room, dining room, and kitchen of the main house all have expansive views of the water.
This very private house is tastefully decorated in keeping with its Italian design, hand-painted sconces from Sicily, and wall ceramics from different parts of Italy. Take your pick from the bedroom with the ocean view or the one overlooking the garden, where the hills rise high surrounding Troncones. Sunbathe on the deck surrounding the two-level infinity pool, or take a stroll down the private path to the beach below. Kitchen is fully equipped, including a confection oven.
The two story guest house located in the back of the property offers privacy from the main house. The first floor is a garage, kitchen and eating area. The second floor is a large bedroom with queen size bed, two twin beds and large bathroom. The balcony offers views of the garden and the ocean.
Maid service is included, a gardener and pool person is on site daily to make sure all is well. Property manager is close by to answer any questions.

I spent 12 days at Casa Forchette with a group of friends over New Years. It was, by far, the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. The house is extremely comfortable, and we were so well cared for by Mauricia. The property itself is well designed, the space and sense of aesthetic is soothing. The six of us always felt like we had enough room to spread out, and the communal area was delightful – we loved sitting down to dinner at the big tables, and cooking in the well appointed kitchen. The pool area was perfect, and the short trail to the beach landed in a little private beach with a little palapa for shade and was just a short walk to a primo body surfing beach. Sunset cocktails were the habit for those 12 days. It was a very good habit:-). There were some great surprises, too… The fishermen would come by daily with the fresh catch of the day which we then bought right off the truck. Fantastic fish! Dorado, shrimp, tuna… yum. And! As if that is not enough, the farm truck would come by, too… with fruits and vegetables. So much to love about this place. Troncones itself is kind of sleepy in all the right ways. It is enough off the beaten track so that it never felt crowded, but with solid infrastructure so we never felt disconnected. It is also incredibly safe, and all the people we met were open and friendly. We are already planning our return.

My family and I spent a fantastic Christmas at this house. My 60+yo mother was very comfortable while my siblings, their partners and I had a fantastic house to party, relax, swim, play games, cook amazing food and enjoy the local town. Mauricia was on site each day to change linens and do a bit of cleaning. Other than that we had the wonderful place to ourselves. Great facilities - kitchen equipment, pool, showers, well maintained garden and fairly secure. I'd recommend this place for any family with young or grown children (although, not too young as safety around the pool could be an issue). Group of several couples would also work as there is a lot of privacy. Anyone with severe cat allergies be aware there are 3 house cats on premises. After a few days there got the picture that they weren't very welcome. Troncones is a fairly remote town so you will certainly need to hire a car for your stay.

Enjoy one of the most perfect settings. My wife and I have visited this property on two seperate occasions and on the second time we got engaged. I would highy recommend this home to anyone. The house is very well appointed and we found several enjoyable things to do in the area to include horseback riding, boogie boarding and viewing some of the most amazing sunsets. If you are looking for a place to escape and regroup this is it.
