Our New Year's stay was just what we were looking for! We had reserved months in advance, however, became somewhat skeptical when we read a review from a prior visitor. Mr. Martin assured us that the unit was in good working order and just as represented in the photos listed here. We found things in general to be in good working order with adequate the kitchen being furnished similar to that of other vacation stays. The ice maker works, but does not dispense from the door. The flat screen TV downstairs was Certainly not of the 70's vintage! (as portrayed by another 'review') My wife was impressed with the overall cleanliness of the property and had been particularly concerned about the reported odors, but none were present during our one week visit. Thanks for a great stay! . . . We are very much looking forward to our visit this spring!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We were very unhappy and uncomfortable with these austere accomodations. A stay of a couple of nights might be tolerable, but we expected that our 28-night vacation to be much better. To begin with, the rental agent required prodding to get a much needed table lamp. When we asked for another end-table for the couch, we were summarily told that the coffee table was adequate. He never responded to the request to repair the commode which would not flush unless the lever was depressed until finished. Following are obvious short-comings: 1. Poor lighting in living room along with very poor/uncomfortable seating. 2. TV sets were l960/70 vintage. 3. Rugs were poor quality, uncomfortable to walk on. 4. The stairs were creaky and could be easily fixed by removing carpet and re-nailing. 5. Kitchen lighting was dim and inadequate 6. There were insufficient dishes and cups. 7. Entering the downstairs bedrooms felt and smelled like entering a moldy basement. Running the AC only partially solved the problem. I would NOT recommend this place, especially for extended stay....(short stay?).....Recommended for: Families with young children.

less well furnished than other condos in which we stayed: only one bedroom is air conditioned, the kitchen was poorly furnished with few dishes, the television remote did not work. no wired telephone was provided in the unit, despite spotty cell phone service in the region. This unit is adequate but was not up to the standard that we had expected.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2
