This is my favorite rental property on the island - rented it 3 years in a row. It's spacious, clean, extremely well furnished, comfortable and has a fully stocked kitchen. It's obviuos that the owner's like the house to be as well stocked as ones home. Whether you're drinking wine, martinis, etc. they have the right glass. Every gadget and utensil imagineable ( I couldn't believe they evern had a juicer), lots of pots and pans. Beautiful art work on the walls. Huge wrap around porch where you can enjoy the ocean view. The photo does not do it justice. I look forwardto renting it again and again. Highly recommend. Owner is a pleasure to deal with.

A beautiful home on the ocean side of LBI. This house is nicely furnished, very clean, and extremely comfortable. It has all of the amenities of home. The roof top deck provides stunning ocean and bay views. Brand new steps to the beach provide easy access. We can tell that the owners of this house take great pride in ensuring an enjoyable and comfortable stay for all guests. Highly recommend rental for on or off-season.

The house is spacious and immaculate, appointed with modern comforts and ameneties. Great location, just steps to the beach and a few minutes away from the lighthouse and many great restaurants. The wrap around deck provides great views of the ocean and the bay with awe inspiring sunsets. Bicycles and canoes add to your sense of adventure. Wonderful accommodations for two or ten. Owner is gracious and very helpful. My husband and I vacationed here a multitude of times, alone or with family and friends and we enjoyed our stay every time. I highly recommend this property during and off-season.

beachhouse getaway

we had a lovely stay at the LBI beachhouse. Our gracious host Margaret, greeted us with a bottle of wine and flowers. It was the perfect start to our vacation. The house was imaculate. The small updated kitchen was easy to use and keep clean, attached to the great room and dinning room with a view to the ocean. All three floors had a bathroom,with the laundry on the lower level. We especially liked the lower level where our boys could hang out with a TV and game system to entertain on rainy days, a selection of DVD's and books were also available. Another helpful feature was an LBI reference guide with information on anything you might want to do.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.

July 4th 2010 Second time renting

We are leaving tomorrow for our second time staying at your beach house and we can not be more excited. We love the location, the house, the beach was wonderful last year. We are looking forward to our July 4th weekend again in LBI!!

Family Fun

We stayed the week of July 12th 2008. We could tell as soon as we stepped into the house how much care is taken to ensure our stay was going to be enjoyable. It is rare to have a beach house that is so well kept. Outdoor showers are always key to a beach house, and this was no exception as we were able to shower off all of the kids before they stepped foot in the house so we too could keep it in good order. The kitchen was fully equipped and it was a joy to walk out on the deck and grill to our hearts content. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing week in a nice home that is steps away from the beach with the lifeguard right in front of your dune. Thanks again for the opportunity to rent such a nice property.

We had the joy of staying here in August of 2007. It was a bit of a risk - we rented site unseen - but after several phone conversations with the owner, I felt confident it would be OK. Margaret and her family are a joy. They took great care to make sure we were set up and comfortable. We can't believe how relaxed we quickly became, and how much fun we had - and how easy it all way! It is an understatement to say that my family and I were blown away at both the house, the location, and the graciousness of the owners. We were completely at home there. The layout is perfect. The house is immaculate. It's steps from the beach, where a lifeguard tower is right there. Anything we could have ever imagined needing was there. Chairs, paper plates - even Band Aids. This is the best rental you will ever find. We have already book our next summer's vacation!!

Very nice and spacious house. The beach is right there with a lifeguard at your front step. All bedrooms are immaculate and very nicely furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped and we liked the openess of it into the living and dining room with 360 degree views The surround balcony had nice views to the beach and spectacular sunsets to the west. We loved the grilling on the balcony. The area is very nice and quiet. The Barneggat lighthouse is only a 5 minute ride. There is also a nice fishmarket there where you can buy all kinds of fresh catch. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back

Having stayed in LBI for the past 8 season's, I can tell you the location, amenities, and accommodations are perfect. Margaret's graciousness during "check-in" and "check-out" also contributes to a very enjoyable vacation. It's always a plus when you're renting from nice people.
