Beach Retreat is a stacked duplex with ocean views from both levels - Newport, OR Oceanview Vacation Rental This two-story duplex, with access to Nye Beach and the Pacific Ocean just steps away, is comfortable and well located. Read a book in privacy or take the dog for a walk on the beach. Cook in your own well-equipped kitchen. Watch the whales from the deck or the patio. There is plenty of room for the kids to play in the fenced back yard ... or wear them out on the beach with the dog! Most of all, this is a great place to have fun. Each Retreat is rented separately, but many family reunions and wedding parties have reserved the entire building at a discounted rate. The Upper Retreat has 2 bedrooms with Queen-size beds and a double futon and single mattress in the living room (although an extra person can sleep on the couch, if necessary). The Lower Retreat has 2 bedrooms: one with a Queen-size bed and the other with both a Queen-size bed and a double futon. There is a double hide-a-bed in the living room. The Lower Retreat, only, is pet-friendly. Beach Retreat is ideally situated in Newport: just over the hill from the Embarcadero bay front with great restaurants and fishing/whaling excursions; close to the bridge taking you to the Newport Aquarium and/or the Rogue Brewery; and around the corner from the Newport Performing Arts Center. There is always plenty to do and Beach Retreat offers a comfortable place to return to at the end of the day.
