Why the Owner Chose River Run, Expedition Station
This condo is in the perfect location in Keystone. Right in River Run Village to walk to the gondola and shopping and restaurants, but quiet and peaceful at the end of the day. We found this the ideal condo for our family.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We don't have to share the pool and hot tub with other buildings, I can work out in the fitness center each morning right down the hall. Each morning when we wake up we can see the slopes and make a plan for the day. We're also just a short walk or bike ride away from the other base- Mountain House. It's a great run over there on the path in the mornings; or to take the kids on their bikes to the lake to feed the ducks or rent a paddle boat. One of my favorite things to do is get a big coffee from Starbucks and hang out at the playground and watch the kids run around.

Our family bought this property in 2005 when we were living in Colorado Springs. We loved it each winter for all the great skiing and we loved it each summer for biking, running, and just plain hanging out with the kids. We have 3 children who were very young when we bought it and thought that it was perfect for a family of 5 or 6 people. It's cozy, but it fits everyone, and for renting, it can easily fit the budget for a family looking to get away.
We've moved away from Colorado Springs, but still love all the memories we made at our little condo and can't wait to return.

Thanks so much for the use of your condo during the 4th of July week. We really enjoyed the corner unit - the views were great as was the air flow through the condo! We also liked staying at Expedition Station as the access to all of Keystone Resort was so easy and the kids loved the pool. Thanks again for the great condo and wonderful family vacation!

The one bedroom with two baths and a Murphy was great. The unit is in great shape and close to restaurants, fly fishing, skiing and other outdoor activities. Would stay here again if the unit is available in 2012... You will not be disappointed and you will love this unit!!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

We rented this condo, on very short notice, and found that what we thought was a good deal, turned out to be not so enjoyable. This unit is on the 1st floor and the garage door is just below. We heard the garage door day and night, which was very disrupting to sleeping. Since this was summertime, we had the windows open and heard alot of traffic noise from outside. I would highly recommend that you don't choose this condo, if you want a peaceful stay at River Run.
Owner response:Sorry this last-minute renter had an unfortunate stay. There are no condos in Keystone with A/C; the cool, dry climate does not warrant it. Our corner-unit condo has double the windows of others and fantastic cross-breezes on warmer days and nights. Any "traffic" is in-village, cars traveling at 10 mph before turning into neighboring condo buildings, or walkers. Most visitors and owners in River Run will report that Expedition Station is one of the quietest, family-friendly buildings in the Village and our condo has garnered many enjoyable stays.

The property was clean, well supplied, and had plenty of room. The hot tub was nice,and the ski lockers were convenient. Thfe garage door was under the living room and was a little distracting, and the underground parking was tight. Overall, the price and accomodations were great.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This condo was awesome. It was such a nice a cozy place to be. We loved being able to walk to the gondola with Ski's in tow. The town is such a friendly place and all the resort people were friendly as well. We will be planning another ski vacation and would love to stay at the same place. Besides all of the activities we participated in, one of our favorite times was looking out the window and seeing it snow. We also sat in the jacuzzi while it was snowing. We don't get that in Florida. Thanks again.

This is a wonderfully appointed unit, just a short walk from the River Run Gondola. The photos do not do it justice, the views are spectacular. We did not want to leave!
