  Our stay at Casa Lilli was wonderful! Marmi was very helpful as we planned our itinerary and was able to reserve tickets for us to avoid long lines. Our guides were exceptional and we particularly enjoyed spending the day with Francesca. We would defiantly stay here again and will recommend Casa Lilli to our friends traveling to Rome. Thank you for making our stay to your beautiful city a memorable one. We truly had an Italian experience.

• Lovely Apartment

  we spent 5 nights in this lovely and spacious apartment.The beds where comfortable, bathrooms efficient and the kitchen equipped with all our needs. We enjoyed the little patio. We did not use the washing machine as the "dryer" was a cloth rack for outdoor drying. The location is excellent, in walking distance to many sights. The owner Marmi is very gracious and helpful, she arranged airport pick up for us, a private tour guide for the Vatican ( Maria Teresa) and a private city tour with Francesca. We had a wonderful driver, Luca, who even chauffeured us to the harbor to catch our cruise ship. Marmi recommended grocery stores, bank and restaurants to us.Marmi also was there for us when we had a shower problem ( we turned the water off with the shoer head) and helped fix the TV back to the English speaking channel after we had pushed the wrong buttons. The only disappointment at first was the exterior of the apartment building which had closed storefronts at street level and lots of graffiti but once inside it was clean and ok. One Restaurant in the neighborhood in walking distance called: Ristorante Anima E Sapor in the Via Di Tor Millina stole our credit card number and charged thousands of dollars worth on it, stay AWAY from it!!!!!

  Apartment is in a good location, just a few blocks from the Coliseum. We arrive late on Dec. 31 but Marmi's son was waiting for us and because of our late arrival they bought us some stuff to be ble to have breakfast on Jan 1st. The apartment was clean and good for our family (5) Marmi also setup a van to move us from and too the airport that was very punctual and at a convenient price. We enjoy our visit to Rome very much. I would like to thanks Marmi for all the advice she gave us before our trip.

  We recently stayed at CasaLilli and loved it. We arrived early and although the apartment was still being cleaned fromt he previous guests, Marmi allowed us to leave our luggage inside while we explored Rome. It was exactly as described, clean, and perfect for our family of 5. The location is extremely close to the Coliseum with many restaurants, cafes, a grocery store and excellent gelato nearby. Marmi was extremely gracious and helpful too.

  We were not able to stay in this apartment (our group was too large), but I wanted to recommend both the neighborhood AND the owner of this rental, because we worked with her in another capacity. We stayed in the same building and the owner of this apartment, Marmi, was recommended to us by friends (who DID stay in the apartment and recommended it VERY highly) as someone who could help us book guides for sightseeing in Rome. Marmi was extremely helpful and warm and got us a fantastic guide for the Vatican (Raffaella)... we loved our tour and were thankful for Marmi's assistance. Not only that, but Marmi answered a ton of questions I had about booking Hypogeum tour tickets for the Colosseum... for a tour she hadn't booked for us (I just wanted to ask a local). Way above and beyond the call of duty... The apartment is in a fantastic location - just a few blocks from the Colosseum, but a quiet area and lots of good places to eat nearby and not far from Colosseum subway stop. We loved the neighborhood!

  My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Marmi greeted us when we arrived and she walked us around the neighborhood. We found the many shops and restaurants in this area to be just perfect, especially the gelato shop at the corner of our street (where we stopped nearly every day!). The casa is close to bus stops and taxis so one can easily travel to the farther areas in Rome yet other piazzas and shops are within walking distance and we did walk a lot there. All we needed was to see the Colosseum as a guide and we knew the way back home. The casa itself is roomy with all the amenities. The terrace is a perfect place for enjoying one's morning coffee and wine in the evening. We would happily return to this place!!

  We rented this apartment for 3 nights in June and we were very pleased with the accommodations. We especially liked the close proximity to the Colleseum. We were in a very safe neighborhood and were able to walk the few blocks to see it at night. We loved the private patio off the kitchen, the fruit provided by the owner, and the safety.

  We were planning our first trip to Italy and to Rome, and my son said he was most interested in being near the Coliseum, which led to me find Marmi and Casalilli. It could not have worked out better! We only had two days, and Marmi was a huge help before we ever got there. She set up our transfer from the train station, a driver to tour us around to many of the famous sights on our first day, obtained tickets and an excellent guide for the Vatican our second day, and our transfer to the airport when we left. About the apartment, Casalilli. It is exactly as described but it was a lot more spacious than I imagined. All the rooms were very generously sized. The apartment is very pretty, nicely and comfortably furnished, and really shows how much thought Marmi has given to making it comfortable for her renters. We were two couple traveling together, and it was perfect, particularly having the second bathroom. The apartment is very well situated, on a quiet street and easy walking distance to the Coliseum. Our driver was waiting when we got off the train, and Marmi was waiting at the apartment when we got there to show us around the apartment. A special touch is that she bought us a very delicious Panettone that came in very handy for snack and breakfast. The kitchen was very well outfitted, though we didn’t do more than have coffee and tea because we wanted to try the local restaurants. Our touring days were incredible. Luga was our driver the first day, and he obviously knows his way around very well and took us to many interesting sites that we were able to tour without having the worry about being with a large group or having to navigate Rome. That was very well worth the cost, which was not prohibitive anyway. We told him we hoped to get into the Coliseum that afternoon so he left us at one of the lesser used entrances which allowed us to bypass the long main line at the Coliseum. Our second day Marmi arranged for a driver to take us to the Vatican where we were met by our tour guide. She had the tickets and we were able to enter without waiting in any line, and 30 minutes before the general public. She was extremely knowledgeable about the Vatican, the Sistene Chapel, St. Peter’s Cathedral, and St. Peter’s Square, and we all learned so much and came away with a great appreciation of the history. In summary, while Casalilli was a perfect place to stay, it was all made better because of Marmi’s great sense of how best to spend our time.

  My husband and I loved staying in Casa Lilli for it's amazing location near the Colosseum and quaint restaurants. And Marmi, the owner is a lovely host who takes care of your every need. The friendliest you'll ever meet! The apartment is well furnished and impeccably clean. I always recommend this place to my friends and family in Belgium. All of them have come back very satisfied.   First of all, Marmi and her daughter, Francesca, have to be two of the most charming and enchanting women in Rome. They welcomed me warmly into their clean, spacious, and tasteful apartment. I was immediately at home. They also took me on a short walking tour of the immediate neighborhood, pointing out interesting sites, restaurants, cafes, banks, etc. I later took walks on my own and was pleased to discover that CasaLilli is located right in the heart of Rome, spitting distance from iconic landmarks like the Colosseo, and the Foro Romano, among others, but tucked away in a quiet little enclave. It was a joy to come home to the apartment after a day exploring the city. I especially liked relaxing and taking my meals al fresco in the balcony, enjoying the balmy air and listening to the sounds of the neighborhood. This is the life! My stay couldn't have been more perfect. Can't wait to come back. Thank you so much, Marmi!
