There are two tastefully appointed bathrooms, one with a bathtub, and the other with a shower and a hair dryer. The master bedroom, furnished with antique furniture, has a decidedly romantic feel. The other bedroom, with twin beds and a study, is comfortable and contemporary. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned. The kitchen is completely equipped with a microwave oven, a four burner gas range with oven, fridge, coffee maker, rice cooker, blender, toaster, plus all the necessary cooking utensils. It leads to a terrace where you can enjoy your meals al fresco. A washing machine, vacuum cleaner, and flat iron complete the list of amenities. Casa Lilli is walking distance from the sites of Ancient Rome - the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trajan Market, and Circus Maximus. Just around the corner, and not to be missed, is the Basilica of San Clemente, a structure of three churches built one on top of the other during three different eras, thus condensing 2000 years of Christian history. The Domus Aurea, better known as the Golden House of Nero, is just a couple of blocks away. It was from here that the famous Emperor watched while Rome burned.
