Nestled amongst the sugar maples and evergreen trees sits "Breakaway Lodge" on eight majestic acres. Four-thousand-eight-hundred square feet of Adirondack elegance with panoramic views of Whiteface Mountain and the surrounding High Peaks. Five minutes from Main Street, Olympic venues, and shopping, yet still private and serene.

Your experience begins as you walk through the hand-carved Mahogany entry door created by a local artisan and recently featured in Adirondack Life magazine. As you enter the Great Room, you will be welcomed by a massive stone fireplace, rustic furniture, and a stunning view of Whiteface Mountain. Off the Great Room, the Master Bedroom is located with a king Bed, gas fireplace, and patio doors which lead to a screened log porch. The Master Bath offers a jacuzzi, double sinks/granite counters, and a sport shower system.

The main level also boasts a gourmet kitchen with granite counters, Jenn-Air Pro Series appliances, and a sitting area with gas fireplace. The octagonal dining area is surrounded by glass with a custom Adirondack table with seating for ten. Guests will linger in the dining area as views from this room are panoramic.

Laundry room and half bath are also located on this level.

The upstairs area includes a loft/sitting area with commanding views and three additional bedrooms and a full bath. 2 childrens bedrooms..Twin/twin, double/twin, and third bedroom with a queen. The ground level offers a family room with gas fireplace, wide screen television, DVD, and gaming table, and a half bath.

Bedroom number five is on ground level with a king bed, television, and private bath with shower.

Garage area/mud room is also located on the ground level. An alpine/nordic waxing area is provided in the garage area.

Outdoors..."Breakaway Lodge" offers a private 22 feet by 44 feet in ground heated pool (Late May through Mid September) referred to as the "Mountain Lake." In addition, the property boasts a six-person outdoor hot tub (year round).

Also, for those who want the adventure of camping out with the convenience of the comforts of home... a six-person log lean-to complete with outdoor fireplace is adjacent to the pool area. Perfect for the younger guests and marshmallow roasters of all ages. For guests of "Breakaway Lodge" access is available to Alford Pond for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Cross Country skiing, hiking, and mountain biking is out your back door and the slopes of Whiteface are 15 minutes away.
