Hi Ginny, I cannot believe that we are almost going home. We have been thinking of our four years of winter visits here and are so happy we got to spend the first years of our retirement at 700 Glossy Ibis. We have been so happy here and have such great memories of family and especially and especially our granddaughter who thinks of this house as "The Beach" --- she means "her" "Beach" house. Really, this is the best place in 30 years we have been on the island ---mainly because it is so well stocked with everything but also because it is warm and comfortable and we love the art. I did manage to buy a poster copy of one of the Huger-Smith paintings in the family room and so glad I did.. Thanks for everything you have done to make us feel so welcome.

Thank you for opening your lovely home to us. We are property owners here, but sold our house 10 years ago. We have been coming to Kiawah since our boys were babies and they are now in college! WE always have such memories and good times here and you have been so accommodating. Your home is very welcoming. We visited this trip for a Zac Brown "Southern Grand Music Festival" and also golfed. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us. We had the perfect week and a great vacation. Our daughter Kate was able to visit the beach for the first time [age 1] and she loved it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!! We had the best spring break ever!! We enjoyed the gorgeous beach - lots of fun in the water and building sand castles and forts. We loved riding our bikes to the beach and all over Kiawah. The shady trails were so kid friendly. The men had a very challenging (& humbling) but enjoyable round of golf at the Ocean Course followed by a round with the big boys (ages, 10 and 9) at Turtle Point. All the kids enjoyed Kamp Kiawah. They also loved the pool every day. We had a fun day enjoying USS Yorktown and Fort Sumter. We had a blast cooking delicious meals in your well-appointed kitchen. We treated ourselves to a wonderful, memorable dinner in the Atlantic Room on our last night. As two families with 5 young boys among us, we couldn't have picked a more action-packed yet relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Thank you again for allowing us a beautiful stay in your gorgeous home!! We dream about coming back again!!

Dear Ginny and husband :), We had the most wonderful time at your beautiful house in Kiawah. The house was perfect for the O's(husband's parents and family) and kiddios followed by a second week with the mother's parents (the K's), and those same kiddies. Your house is spacious, well designed and nicely decorated. By the way, we did have a great dinner at Tomaso's at Turtle Point. Very good Italian food and charming wait staff. Ryder's Cup Bar at Ocean Course for lunch was delightful. We ate outside and what a view! If we are lucky enough...would be so happy to come back again. Thank you for the passes for our friends and all your good recommendations. Many heartfelt thanks! What a beautiful setting for a family get together. The 60 somethings enjoyed the idyllic setting of the great room, the 30 somethings enjoyed the sociable setting of the kitchen and tv room, and the 2 year old enjoyed running between the 2 spots begging someone to get in the pool with her! Thanks for helping/allowing us to make some wonderful memories in your beautiful house!

As promised, your home is absolutely lovely and so attractively and warmly decorated. We are just thrilled to be here. Norm saw a bobcat yesterday while out on a bike ride. For a biologist, it was just about the best welcome he could receive!

Just wanted you to know that we had a wonderful vacation week at your beautiful home. Our little ones loved all the pool and especially all of the beach toys you provide! They could not get enough of the pool! The pool area is so private and charming. Grilling out at night and dining under the stars was a great treat! See you next year!

Thanks for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful week! We really enjoyed your swimming pool and the neighborhood is so lovely. We went to Charleston twice (loved your restaurant and sightseeing suggestions) and what a lovely city it is! I wanted to share a picture of the fish my 15 year-old caught. What a beautiful 31" redfish. Too bad it was too big to keep. He LOVES to fish so that catch made his week perfect!

What a wonderful family vacation we had! Your home was perfect for entertaining the entire family and having Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed the pool and large master bath. Your home is very spacious and felt like our hme away from home. Many compliments from our family on your nice wood floors and beautiful rugs and perfect buffet space. We saw a lot of dolphins and have many beautiful shells to bring home. Thanks again for our wonderful vacation!

What a wonderful week! We enjoyed swimming in the pool and riding bikes to the beach. We took your recommendation and stopped off at Rosebank Farms for fresh fruits and vegetables. We also bought some of their fresh fish to grill out and one of the delicious key lime pies. What a treat! A couple of nights we headed in to Charleston for dinner and the rest of the week we dined at some of the restaurants around Kiawah. Each afternoon while we were enjoying the sun and your pool, a buck (a quite large one) walked behind your fence. He was fun to see! We did get to enjoy quite a bit of nature on this trip. We were lucky enough to see dolphins, a glossy ibis, blue herons and snowy egrets (and more). Thank you so much for sharing your house with us. We had such a wonderful relaxing vacation that we did not want it to end!

Time with family for a relaxing week of walking the beach, riding bikes, touring Charleston and enjoying one another is "the best"! The house is so comfortable and welcoming. We loved seeing the deer out back along with the magnificent birds and the alligators we spotted around the golf course. Sitting around the pool at the end of the day and taking a swim was the greatest treat!

We love the beautiful marsh setting and the private pool is absolutely awesome! It was perfect to get up early and have the children jump in the pool before heading off to the beach and to ride bikes. The guys spent almost every day fishing and we were rewarded with redfish and even a flounder. The ladies took long walks and even managed to get in to Charleston for some gratifying shopping. Dinners were incredible as usual. We ate in with fresh seafood twice, but hit our favorites in Charleston four nights. An absolutely incredible week. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home! we can't wait to come back!
