Why the Owner Chose Santa Cruz
As a child my family would drive from Santa Clara Valley with four kids.We would meet up with another family with four kids .Play pens, tons of towels and all necessry items for the perfect day at the beach would be carried down to "Sunny Cove Beach". After a long day it was time to stop a Mariannes Ice Cream, which is still on Ocean Street, and back over the hill we would go.Ocean View Cottage is just 7 homes from "Sunny Cove Beach". When I go to the house it brings back feelings of carefree days.

Even if everyone goes to the beach you can still enjoy the coast.Lovely afternoon sun filters through the Cypress Hedge that surrounds the home. The pelicans fly overhead as well as rare birds from the wildlife lagoon nearby.This very comfortable home has the perfect floor plan, making living a breeze. There is also a very deep tub to warm up after a swim, plus a hot outdoor shower. Located on a cottage lined street just 7 homes to the best beaches in Santa Cruz. Walking distance to several points of interest and fun restaurants.

What a WONDERFUL house~! I could have decorated it myself! Same style and feel of our home here in Volcano,CA. One week was not long enough...So we will try 2 weeks this year! I just put in a call to the owner( who is DELIGHTFUL! ) This years celebration be a Honeymoon ( officially MRS. BENSON 1-22-11) and my 61st Birthday!

Wonderful beds, wonderful everthing, we feel so at home here, have claimed near ownership on the bench at the end of the street. Kept Nuevo in business alot, used the beaches endlessly(the fabulous sculptures of driftwood after the storm should of been photographed)... we were cozy clams..

We enjoyed the comfortable beds...It was such a wonderful experience.. the fog rolling in.. the smell of the ocean mist..the windows open.. together in the kitchen.. card games at night.. early morning walks.. sunset walks with dolphins.. the diamonds dancing on the water.. the warm ocean breezes.. We returned last night to sub-zero temperatures and about 6 inches of snow after 16 days in sunny California. We thoroughly enjoyed your house. It worked out well for our family and the location is superb. The deck out front got a lot of use as we absorbed as many rays as possible... Thanks for returning the deposit so promptly. I really appreciate not having to think abot it.
