Escape the frustrations of the world and come visit us in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. Located in the Wet Mountain Valley of Colorado, Cusak's Cottage is right in the back yard of the Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range. The mountain range is the tallest, longest, contiguous mountain range on the earth with 13,000 and 14,000 foot peaks.
Cusak's Cottage has a porch where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunrise or sunset, watch the horses go in and out to pasture, enjoy a good book or simply breathe the fresh mountain air. You never know what kind of wildlife that will be around, you might see Elk, Deer or maybe a bear. Cusak's Cottage is appointed bedding, towels, kitchen utensils and dishes.
As our guest, you have the ability to rent your own horse when weather permits. Ask about our riding programs and beginner's instruction. We offer seasonal fly fishing instruction in the high mountain lakes and streams of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains with our regulation outfitters license #855.
15 minutes away, the town of Westcliffe provides a butcher shop, grocery and natural food store, and a variety of restaurants, from fine dining to gourmet sandwich shops. Antiquing, art galleries, clothing and souvenir shopping are located on Main Street. |
