Myself and three girlfriends had a wonderful time staying at Casa Azul! Tom was super helpful, Laila was great, and the house was pretty awesome! The house is exactly as it looks in the photos, and it was kept sparkling clean and well maintained by Tom and Laila and the rest of the team. We spent so much time at the edge of the infinity pool looking at the view of the beach, the town, the lagoon and sometimes even storms passing over the nearby mountains, that I think I'm still pruney!! We had many different bird visitors and even a small troop of monkays one morning! Quepos and Manuel Antonio are heavily touristed but well supported towns. The poeple are friendly, the prices are fair, and there's no shortage of things to do or places to eat, for all budgets. If I come back to MA, I'll be checking for this house first!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our family of 4 (parents, 22-year old daughter, 16-year old son) spent a week at Casa Azul. Comfortable, clean and close to Quepos, Manuel Antonio National Park and some lovely beaches. Tom, the house manager, was wonderful--from the first e-mail inquiry we made right on through to making sure our transportation back to the airport arrived as planned. He knows so much about the area and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great vacation. Let him help you with side trips, restaurants, personal chefs, etc.; you will be happy you did. Casa Azul had all the basics and worked for the 4 of us. No monkeys or sloths but maybe our timing was wrong. The only outdoor seating area, pool, and 4th bedroom all must be accessed by stairs, so if someone in your party has a mobility issue, Casa Azul may not be for you. Also, the upholstered seating in the living area is pretty limited (3-4 people), so larger parties will have to be o.k. pulling up dining-type chairs.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Casa Azul is a great location to explore the Manuel Antonio Park area. We went in the "rainy" season and it was perfect. It defies reason, but it rains every day at about 3pm for an hour or two. But by that time in the day, you have done so much that an hour break is perfect. The view from the house is even better than the photos show. You can see all of Quepos and north along the coast. We would sit in the house and watch night soccer games on the lit soccer field in Quepos. We took a white water rafting trip with Amigos Del Rio and it was amazing. The guides are the best and it was one of the highlights of the trip. We also did ziplining a few times, and did an adventure with Quepos Canyoning that involved rappelling down a water fall and a "monkey drop" that was lots of fun. Tom helped set up each adventure, and all were excellent. Have fun! David and Alison - Boston MaDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a great week at Casa Azul. The house was perfect for us - a family of 5: me, husband, 2 kids, and my mother. The pictures on the website are accurate although I'd say it is even better in person. My mother chose to use the poolside bedroom and it was ideal for her. The views are STUNNING. The pool was a great bonus. As everyone has written before, Tom Barron was great. We are a pretty self sufficent bunch and he checked in daily, offered advice when asked, and was never intrusive. We may not have "used" him as much as others but only because we like to explore on our own - we knew he was always available and we trusted him 100%. The tours he did set up for us - horseback riding and a guided tour of the park were excellent. He gave us advice on what activities to avoid, what restaurants offered typical Tico food, and who to make contact with at the public beach to get umbrella/chairs etc. Clearly Tom is a respected member of the Quepos/Manuel Antonio community.Did you find this review helpful? I was in Costa Rica to celebrate my 66 birthday with my sister, 22 year old niece and a friend. We were very pleased with the house and the location over looking Quepos and the ocean. The pool and surrounding areas were perfect and there was plenty of shade. Everything that the listing stated was accurate. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and well maintained . Four women travelling could have been scary but Tom made us feel safe and at home. It was as if we had a best friend there to guide us and take care of all our needs. He booked our tours and answered the phone all day and night. He is the reason I would recommed this property to everyone. We enjoyed all the tours he suggested. He is a jewel. He got us the best spa deal ever. We saw so much wildlife up close and personel, that we were amazed. We all enjoyed the monkeys. I want to mention how easy Tom made the process of booking Casa Azul. We will be back next year. Thank you Tom.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We came to Costa Rica for my sons wedding and stayed at the Casa Azul in Manuel Antonio. I can not say enough about the property manager tom. He picked us up many times and brought us to the house my son was renting. He showed us the town, set up excursions like zip lining and water rafting and went beyond the call of duty. The house we rented was wonderful. It was clean. Had a great view with a wonderful pool. we are looking forward to going back again. It was a wonderful holiday. The views from the house are breathtaking and the pool is fantastic. Our vacation/wedding was romantic and the views of the area spectacular and the house wonderful. We spent a week at Casa Pajaro Azul in March 2011. What a wonderful vacation! The views from Casa Azul are breathtaking. The views from the pool cannot be duplicated. Tom, the property manager, was absolutely wonderful. He is always available for any problem or question -- any time day or night. The house is comfortably furnished and very clean. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Casa Pajaro Azul.in Maunuel Antonio to any of our friends or family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

Our group of seven had the vacation of a lifetime. We fell in love with Costa Rica thanks to our wonderful host Tom. Before we arrived in Costa Rica, Tom had arranged transportation for us and had put in touch with his "favorite" boat Captain to ensure the guys would have the fishing trip of a lifetime. The moment we arrived, Tom was there to familiarize us with the house and to see to our every need. We had flown in on a red eye so we were tired and hungry. He set us up with Pizza place that delivered and took a couple of our party to a grocery store so we could get a few things for the next day. But he didn't stop there, within a couple of hours he had arranged a zip line for us the next day. Costa Rica is so beautiful, I know we would have loved our trip anyway, but Tom made it extra special. We planned to cook at the house, but we were so busy having fun it never happened. Everyone loved the the accomdations and if we weren't off having fun, we were in the pool having fun. We came home every day to a clean house and clean laundry. The best vaction we ever had!! Try Casa Azul and Tom will make sure you have the trip of a lifetime.Owner response: Tom is an expert at making sure our guests enjoy their stay at Casa Azul to the fullest extent and Leyla does a wonderful job at taking of the "little things" to help make your stay at your home away from home comfortable!

We had a relaxing and most comfortable time as Casa Azul. For groceries, to to Pali and the vegetable/fruit market next to it. The other places are pricey. If you are into surfing, drive 30 minutes south to Dominical for some laid-back beach time and swell. Tom can take care of any of your needs/issues/tours/planning --- anything! We hope you enjoy the pool and the lounge chairs at Casa Azul as much as we did! Cheers. The Seattle FamilyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We travel into Costa Rica annually. Casa Azul is one of the best homes we have experienced. Tom is great. Knows and understands the culture. Great guy and very helpful. Leyla, the maid, is wonderful. Coming home daily to a clean environment is so wonderful. Our favorite places are: Ronnie's (watch the ocean change and enjoy the drinks). We can't wait to return next year. What a great time we had. We had 3 teen girls who loved the pool and everything Manuel Antonio and Quepos had to offer. The house was exactly what we expected, beautiful, well kept and with amazing views. We will be back. Thanks to Tom we were guided towards the best places to eat, amazing adventures and local tips. A family vacation to remember. ps:I loved grilling while overlooking the ocean, Quepos and the surrounding mountains-highly recommend it....Did you find this review helpful? We just returned from our stay at Casa Azul. The home is wonderful! The view from the pool is stunning. We were met by Tom at the airport and he supported us while we rented a car and then took us to the home. It was very welcoming and clean. There is everything you need to enjoy your stay. The beds were very comfortable. The home is cleaned daily (very few home in Quepos offer this service). Leila is a wonderful lady who comes to clean the home. She tried to improve my spanish...still working on it! We will return to the home again next year. My extended family and I, six in all, spent a few nights at Casa Azul during June. We found the house to be just as pictured on VBRO. Tom, the property manager, is very helpful to those needing information about the Manuel Antonio and Quepos area. The villa is in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the town of Quepos beyond the infinity pool. We were just minutes from shopping at Pali's (WalMart) and a very short drive to the beaches in the Manuel Antonio area. We chose to eat at the local restaurants of Manuel Antonio and Quepos, rather than cook while we stayed at Casa Azul. Once at the villa, be sure to read the guest comment book for lots of tips for the area and neighborhood.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

3/12 – 3/19/2010Wonderful vacation! Great place to stay. Tom was invaluable, Leyla was great. The TV was fine – sofa was wonderful after a long day out. The bedroom by the pool was fine – open the door while at the pool. Bedroom at the right up the stairs was terrific. Will we be back? You bet! Joe and Donna; David and Sue, all of Dunkirk, MD.3/8/2010We enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul. The Horse Tour with Diego was great, the beach area was clean!!! The coconut water was a plus! The hike to the waterfall is not for the faint of heart. Manuel Antonio National Park was OK…. Long, hot, and lots of walking! The pool was wonderful and very refreshing. The TV didn’t work to well – good thing for the DVD’s! We appreciated Tom’s help, attention & advice for our short stay, Casa Azul was a nice house, we enjoyed it! 2/11/2010To Whom it May Concern: We are two couples from “South Jersey” (yes, there is a difference). Casa Azul was our choice from a lengthy internet search… We immediately got good “vibes” from the prompt and informative feedback with Tom Barron, our “Quepos Connection”. As you will read in comments from others, he is “the man” that helps you make it happen. It was our first time here in Costa Rica and we had a great time!!! Thank you, Tom. Layla was awesome… you’ll want to take her home with you for sure. Our top 3 Restaurant Choices: Barba Rojas (Pirates); La Cantina, and Aqua Azul. Do the tours with guides and support the people here!! Jim, Lori, Lucia, and Rich.1/29/2010Bob and I came from Chicago, IL to join Lynne and Ernie from North Carolina. Their children, Erin and Jennifer from Chicago and Kurt and Kate from New York. It was a 70th birthday party event for Lynne. The first day we got a car, but realized that the hill was a little scary to drive up, and, economically it was much cheaper to take cabs and bus – so we turned it in after 2 days, although Kurt and Ernie kept theirs. We first arrived at night by bus from San Jose – beautiful views! Our first day was a fun day in Quepos, shopping for food and beer – just walking around town. That night we cooked here and enjoyed the beauty of the view. The next day we took the tour to Manuel Antonio – it was fun, not sure if it was worth the price – later going back to the beach was the best part. The rest of the crew (not me because I was chicken) rented kayaks and went snorkeling – saw wonderful fish and came home with tales of “dating fish”. We ate at the Casa Azul every night. There was equipment and everything we needed to cook with. This was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had in my life. A combination of adventure, mixed with coming home, jumping into the pool and enjoying the ABSOLUTELY fantastic view of Quepos at night (one night we had fireworks). On my arbitrary scale of 1 to 10, it was definitely a 10 for the week. Thank you Tom for being at our beck and call every minute of the day! I will come back with my own family!Kathleen from Chicago, ILDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Azul. Love the pool, beautiful views! Tom is very knowledgeable of things to do and places to go. He arranged our horse beach tour with Diego. We had a great time with Diego and his horses! The TV in the room was too small though, the reception is horrible. It would have been nice to at least see the news on the TV! Wireless would be a plus too! It did help to watch some of the DVDS though. The air conditioners will freeze you out of the house, they worked well. It was nice to have the washer/dryer on site! Quespo is quite the little town on Saturday nights with their horse parade! We really enjoyed our stay in Costa Rica and at Casa Azul. Suggestion...Need some blankets in the house, the maid (lovely girl BTW) give me sheets to use for extra blankets! ~Diane, Jerry, Marcia and MyronOwner response: Well, it is comforting to know that the air conditioning is working well! The guest preferred to keep the house cold and needed blankets at night. We have now supplied extra blankets. Television reception is sketchy in this small town and we were glad that the guest made use of the large DVD collection.

Dec 26, 2009 to Jan 5, 2010Casa Azul is a fantastic location to stay at. The view is absolutely amazing and the layout of the villa could not have suited us better. Fantastic pool to relax and cool off after the many excursions that are available. We would highly recommend hiring a chef for at least one night as the food is fantastic and the experience a delight. We did ziplining, a tour of the park, though I would definitely recommend a guide or you will miss far too much. We spent time at the beach, went to Cano Island for diving and snorkeling. That is a bit far from here and it would be better to drive to Drake Bay and do the tour from there. The boat ride was really long though we did get to see a group of dophins playing which was really cool. We thoroughly enjoyed the Villa Vanilla tour and learned a lot. Also did the ATV tour, which was really good, but is really dirty. The pool was a lifesaver after that one.We really had a fantastic time, couldn’t have picked a better location for our family.Tom is a great help, definitely listen to his tips. Thanks for everything! The HildebrandtsNiagra Falls, Ontario CanadaDid you find this review helpful? Dec 12-17, 2009Ahhh-mazing! Casa Azul is gorgeous with unbelievable views overlooking Quepos and the Marina. We got some incredible pictures of the mountains from the pool. 4 trax ATV was so so much fun. Take your swimsuit, sunscreen and wear clothes that you don’t care about. The mud is a red clay color.Canopy Safari for a really cool zipline course w/ ziplines x 10, 2 repel lines and a tarzan swing. Also has a butterfly farm at the end. The staff at Canopy is fun, knowledgeable and take safety to the max.Barba Roja has really good nachos and banana leaf mahi mahi. Agua Azul has the Big Ass Burger, with big ass flavor.Recommend getting colones to pay for everything if paying in cash. We noticed a much better value for our money with colones.Tom was the best we could have hoped for and more. Always steered us in the right direction with all of his recommendations. Listen to all of his suggestions, you can’t go wrong.Leyla kept the house spotless and worth every tip.Love Costa Rica and can’t wait to return.Did you find this review helpful? Nov. 27, 2009Perfect pace for a family vacation. Our homes was welcoming, clean & Tom is there whenever you need him and I mean whenever! He was here on site and by phone to meet our every need.Surfing on the public Manuel Antonio Beach past the big rock was great. Watch for times of high tides. Catching fish to grill on the Barbie by the pool every night with homemade guacamole and chips…perfect!Layla made pinto and gallo and we ate it for breakfast with eggs and the fish at night. If you go to Ronnies Place, go for sunset and have excellent Sangria.Tour of Manuel Antonio helpful, but if you’re a true naturalist you may find it a lot of hokey turismo. Our guide was very knowledgeable and meets us with humor and not too many people like the groups in front and behind us.For wildlife, take a canoe trip on the Rio Frio in Cano Negro in Central Costa Rica. Ask for Federico. Sitting by the pool with the best view was our favorite. We rented a car, flat tire day 1. (Tom took care of it and fixing the broken gas gauge. We were out of gas until we banged it and then we were full.)Negociate cost of surf boards. Our group was gradually ages 28, 28, 31, 38, 59 & 60. All had a great time! From the moment that our plane arrived, we could see that this would be a trip of a life time! Watching the passing scenery on the drive to Para Azul was more breath taking than the view from the window of the plane. From the colors of the vegetation on the hills to the sandy beaches reflecting the one of a kind Costa Rica sun, everywhere we looked was a picture perfect post-card. Once we arrived at the amazing Para Azul and we were greeted by Tom and his ear to ear smile, we felt like we were at our home away from home. Tom ensured that we had everything that we need from food and drinks to the right people for our island excursions. I can not describe the unforgettable moments our family shared on this vacation, but I know that everyone should have this experience at least once- LOL we're thinking once a year....Owner response: Not sure why there was a duplicate here.

August 16, 2008 Tom, Before we even got here, you had already lowered our traveling anxiety quotient and were the consummate host. We were so fortunate and amazed to have you as our “handler.” If not for you, Laura may have been sick for the entire time we were down here!! You know the old saying, “it’s not what you know, but who you know” and you knocked it out of the park in that regard. We hope we weren’t “needy,” but judging from some of the stories, it sounds like we were doing alright. Thank you so much for all the terrific suggestions and tips. I can’t imagine there is anybody in Costa Rica that does it better! Take care and God Bless you and your wife. Brad Morrison P.S. Enjoy a couple coitibas that I picked up at the birthday party, but never had time to smoke. June 22 – 28, 2008Our trip here was amazing! This was our 3rd and last week in Central America and definitely one of the best locations! We recommend white water rafting and the beach in the park rocked! Plenty of monos (monkeys) to fill our needs and more! All capuchins. Tom was a lot of help and with 8 people we would have died without Neila. Thanks a bunch!Graves & Mill familiesJoplin, MOJune 16 – 18, 2008Such an awesome location! Six of us came together and we all found plenty of activities to keep us busy. We recommend Unique Tours for rafting down the river (ask for Julio) TiTi canopy tours for zip-lining. Go to the Mariposa for drinks at sunset. There are lots of good places to eat. Tom Barron was most helpful with any requests we had no matter how many times we called. Dec. 21 - 28, 2008Our family had a great time here at Casa Azul! We packed as many activities as we could into the week. We did the Titi Canopy tours zip lining, which was thrilling and fun! We heard that another canopy tour was a freefall zip line, which would have been cool. The tour of Manuel Antonio Park was beautiful and interesting. You get a day pass into the park where they have the most beautiful beaches! We recommend taking your swimsuit with you so you can go straight to the beach after the tour. We missed coming back to the beach because it closed at 4pm. We saw 3 toed and 2 toed sloths, tree frogs, raccoons, woodpeckers and all kinds of wildlife that we never would have seen without our guide. One of the coolest things we did was go deep sea fishing. We hooked 3 sailfish, each well over 100lbs, and one Mahi Mahi, which we kept. We hired Louis the chef to come cook it for us, along with an elaborate dinner. We loved his bananas flambé. Be careful though, they (the chef and his assistants) might try to offer to bring you something the next day, and the next thing you know, you've hired them again. We did the fourtrax ATV tour, which was awesome! Mom, who is kind of a sissy, crashed hers and fell off as we were doing the practice u-turns, so she had to ride with Dad. We recommend that if you are a sissy too, just ride on the back of someone else's. Bring your own swimsuit, because there is a little river to swim in. Bring a few colones too because there is a bar by the river. One of my favorites was salsa dancing at Sargento Garcia's. I already know how, but they have a teacher who comes around and dances with you or shows you how to dance with your partner. The last thing we did was the Sunset Sailing which was nice, but the snorkeling was murky. Most of the people on the cruise were gay men, so if that's your crowd, get on board.Overall, the best vacation ever!! And we loved Tom and Leila! Muchas Gracias! The Petree FamilyCaliforniaOctober 12 – 18, 2008Dear Tom, Roy & Leila,Thank you, gracias, merci! We loved Casa Azul & all the fun things in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. Dec. 21 - 28, 2008 Our family had a great time here at Casa Azul! Most of the people on the cruise were gay men, so if that's your crowd, get on board. Overall, the best vacation ever!! And we loved Tom and Leila! Muchas Gracias! The Petree Family California October 12 – 18, 2008 Dear Tom, Roy & Leila, Thank you, gracias, merci! We loved Casa Azul & all the fun things in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. Our top things: Seeing a sloth come down for his weekly visit in the Manuel Antonio National Park, watching a large family of monkeys here at the house by the pool; and climbing a waterfall during our horseback riding adventure at Finca Valmy with Valentin. Our top food finds were Soda Sanchez in Quepos and Restaurant Angelo near Super Joseth's! Delicioso! Great house, great service, very friendly & welcoming - we loved it! I wish this was my house & I could visit all the time. We will miss our topical paradise. Thanks!! June 22 – 28, 2008 Our trip here was amazing! This was our 3rd and last week in Central America and definitely one of the best locations! We recommend white water rafting and the beach in the park rocked! Plenty of monos (monkeys) to fill our needs and more! All capuchins. Tom was a lot of help and with 8 people we would have died without Neila. Thanks a bunch! Graves & Mill families Joplin, MO June 16 – 18, 2008 Such an awesome location! The service was great, the chefs were fabulous! The pool was most enjoyable for cooling down & having cocktails. Parasailing, canopy tours, we did it all. The ladies hooked a 300 lb marlin for bragging rights! Hope to return, Tom was great! The Nichols & Thomas family McAlester, OK June 8 – 14,2008 Most fun and educational tour we had. Couldn’t recommend a specific restaurant as they were all good! However, the Pizzaria at the Hotel Byblos has by far the best pizza in Central America. Enjoy, we did! The Fullers Jim, Theresa, Scott, & Lindsey Akron, OH April 23 – 30, 2008 Casa Azul is awesome! Leila was a most efficient maid even though I’m sure we dirtied up more dishes than most guests. All of us look forward to returning to Costa Rica. Anne & Vic Robson Houston, TX April 12 – 19, 2008 We had such a great stay here at Manuel Antonio, the Town of Guepo’s is a great place to visit and dine. The tours was an experience of a lifetime. Great stay! Bernard & Dorothy Triangle, VA P.S. The property management was most accommodating.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Must say that my this was the best vacation we have ever taken! Casa Azul is beautiful. Love the infiniti pool, was a life saver. And, Tom the property Manager took such great care of us. Everything was so easy and relaxing! All of the excursions were a blast: Zip lining (Canopy safari), White Water rafting(H20), Sunset Sail cruises and a wonderful guided tour through the National Park. Could not have asked for more. Will come back again and bring the kids! Thanks Again Tom for such a great time. We MISS CASA AZUL!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed in the house in early December and it was wonderful. We rented a car so that we could explore the mountains and rainforests nearby. We also did the canopy tour which was great. The house was much more than expected. The pool was a wonderful place to relax in the evening. The view was great and it was convenient for shopping in Quepos and going to the beach and park in Manuel Antonio. Raoul really made the trip wonderful for us. He was able to coordinate everything we wanted to do and answer all of our questions. We spent a lot of our time with Raoul and it was because of him that we did not regret staying at a private house. Raoul and the house are great!!Did you find this review helpful? Casa Azul provided our family with the most fabulous family vacation. 7 adults and one toddler fit very comfortably in the house. The pool and view of the town and sea were fantastic. The location was great for getting into Quepos to grocery shop and an easy trip by public bus to the Manuel Antonio public beach and park. We rented a car in Quepos but could have managed without it between the bus and the taxis. Local food was plentiful and delicious, especially the fruit and seafood. Raoul was a wealth of information and very helpful to us in planning our activities. His recommendations on restaurants and activites were always right on. The housekeeper was also very good, quiet, and a big plus with the house. I would highly recommend the Casa Azul and this area of Costa Rica.Did you find this review helpful? Casa Azul exceeded all our expectations. The beautiful setting, wonderful help from Raoul (he really knows how to coordinate your entire trip), evenings by the pool and the spacious accommodations made our trip magical. Our only mistake, not hiring the chef! We had wonderful dinners at the house and at several restaurants Raoul recommended. The housekeeper did an exemplary job; she was thorough and professional. Coming from Bar Harbor Maine, I've seen many beautiful places but this is one you've got to see!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our family of 7 enjoyed the location of Casa Azul and the fabalous view of the ocean and town. The bedrooms are large and the 3 bathrooms accommidated us fine. In the morning we enjoyed watching the birds land in the trees. There was so much to do in the area that we didn't spend much time in the house, althought the pool was great to relax at in the evening. Our guide at Manual Antonio park was named Micheal and he was great. We did the Canopy Tour, Snorkled a few days, took a Mango Tour and swam at Manual Antonio beaches. Everything put together turned out to be a perfict vacation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Casa Azul was one of the highlights of our stay in Costa Rica. Soaking in the pool, enjoying the gorgeous view afforded much-needed relaxation. And special thanks to Raoul for fixing whatever problems popped up - "Sorry, the airport is closed today for improvements...". We WILL be back.Did you find this review helpful? Comments from Guest Book in Home: Casa Pajaro Azul is such a gorgeous home. The view is amazing. Raoul does a very good job. If you stay here, I recommend that you have the chef cook for you because it is the best food in town and costs the same as all the restaurants. The maid was amazing and worked so hard. She definately deserves a big tip because she stayed all day. All was perfect. Other guest writes: Casa Azul was a great getaway home. There were 6 of us and we especially enjoyed the pool. The view was amazing! We had the chef come and the food was fabulous -- well worth it. The maid and the pool boy were such great workers and everyone was so polite. We had a fabulous, fun time here --- so relaxing and would definately come again! Other guest writes: We loved our stay at Casa Azul! Beautiful house, pool and view for group of 8. We felt very pampered and the chef was great. Signed Erin and Tad Boryczka and Christine and Jeff Jones and Keelin Redmon and Phill Pfitzner. Other Guest Wrote: Our week at Casa Azul was wonderful. The staff was of great help and made our excursions to the canopy tour and scuba dives and national partk and out into town all run smoothly. The house is terrific and well-attended by the maid and pool staff. Ernesto and his mom, Eunice, are the BEST CHEFS in Costa Rica! Hire them - it is worth it! Quepos and Manuel Antonio were a new adventure for our group, but an enjoyable one. The views are amazing, the adventures are many, so take it easy. Look around and enjoy Costa Rica. We all did. Our family of six had a fabulous time during our week at Casa Azul. Raoul was wonderful in planning all our adventures (and we tried to do them all) and helping recover lost items and fix flat tires. The house was perfect for all our needs-the pool and it's views were by far the best part!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We brought our whole family for a week at Casa Azul. The house is lovely and comfortable; the view from the pool spectacular. We loved watching the birds in the early mornings and at sunset. Manuel Antonio is a treasure. From the youngest (age three) to the oldest (65+) everyone had a blast.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Casa Azul does not disappoint! This was our first trip to Costa Rica and from our first contact with the owner, everything was flawless, organized and comforting. The staff was helpful and friendly. The house was perfect: clean, comfortable, best quality sheets, towels, etc. The pool was the largest private home pool we saw in the area and perfectly maintained. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to the beach, but sometimes it was more fun to hang around our pool. If we had stayed in a hotel, the per-room cost would have been two to three times this cost and we would not have had the luxury and privacy that we had at Casa Azul. HIGHLY recommended!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We truly enjoyed our stay at Caza Azul. The panoramic Views are breathtaking. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Esteban is a great resource for coordinating activities and making sure all the amenities at the house are available and in good working order. Leyla was great in maintaining the house and makig sure everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you Gabriel for maintaining a beautiful pool. We have to recommend to those who visit Manuel Antonio Beach to look up Pamela. She rents beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. She is a womderful lady who can also help coordinate your activities while on the beach. She can provide almost anything and she is very trustworthy. There were 7 adults on this trip. We had plenty of room and were never in each other's way. We would love to return and enjoy your home again. We highly recommend your accomodations.Did you find this review helpful? Everything was perfect. We were a group of 6 adults and one teenager. We were a little worried because this was the first trip we took without the assistance of a travel agent, and our first trip to Costa Rica. Casa Azul was the perfect home base for us. Everything was clean, spacious, and organized. Reservations were a snap and the staff went overboard to make sure we felt at home and even took the time to show us around the town and beaches. Just sitting around the pool watching the sun set was spectacular. The house was a gem.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is an amazing house and was an experience of a lifetime! Esteban, Ernesto, Maria, and Eunice took great care of us! We could not have asked to have been more pampered. The house and pool are both great. The views and the access to Quepos and Manuel Antonio (and the activities they offer)were wonderful. We loved Casa Azul! The four of us spent a week in Quepos/Manual Antonio, Costa Rica and loved it. Esteban was a great help arranging things such as flights to/from San Jose, scuba dives, a canopy tour, rental car, hiring a chef, and shopping/dining and night life excursions. The house is great, the pool is wonderful, the view is spectacular, the maid kept things immaculate, the chefs (Ernesto and Eunice) were fabulous. We highly recommend Casa Azul and look forward to visiting again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Comment Text: We had a wonderful time at Casa Azul! Esteban was great, helping out with all needs; driver from San Jose, taxi's, excursions, recommending places to eat, etc. We would recommend this home to anyone interested in staying in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. All tours were great with friendly, helpful people. We planned most tours in the mornings and spent the afternoons in the pool. The view from the home is remarkable! Thanks again for arranging everything for us Esteban.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
