Casa Milagro is a gorgeous villa designed from the influences of modern, Mexican architecture. The three bedroom plus maid's quarters, three and a half bathroom villa is a mix of contrasts. Sophisticated yet simple, contemporary but with a tropical touch.
This 2250-square foot home is located on a quite, peaceful street within PLAYACAR. It is a 2-3 minute walk through pre-classical Mayan ruins to reach our white, sandy beaches and turquoise blue waters. The town of Playa del Carmen with it's famous 5th avenue is a short 8-10 minute walk. The exotic Xaman-Ha bird aviary is also just 2 minutes away.

I built my first home in Playacar in 1982, when Playa del Carmen was still just a sleepy little fishing village. Throughout the years I have always enjoyed returning to Playa!

My family and I stayed at Casa Milagro in the summer of 2010 and had a fantastic 2 week vacation. We used to stay at all inclusive resorts but given we have 4 children with 2 of them under 2 years of age a hotel room was not suitable. Casa Milagro is a great villa and located in an excellent location. It is within easy walking distance of Playa del Carmen where we walked to every evening and just a few minutes to the beach. There is also a community pool and tennis court located down the street. Casa Milagro is a newer home and has all the amenities one could ask for. It is very comfortable and nicer than the pictures shown. The property managers were very helpful and the staff kept the home and yard very clean. We had never rented before and had such a great experience we highly recommend it and will do it again. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and we appreciated all the help provided.

We just returned from a fantastic week in Playa. One important factor in the success of our trip was the luxury of Casa Milagro. The house is a work of art exhibiting international design elements from the Far East to Central America. The owner’s attention to the artistic is only matched by her understanding of the importance of modern conveniences. Free internet phone service, satellite TV, WiFi, and a high quality sound system, are some of the amenities that made our stay a step above what we typically experience from vacation rentals. The beds were very comfortable which made for restful sleeping. The property manager Patty was incredibly professional, nothing was left to chance with her help. Playacar is essentially a private community of luxury homes. If you want to experience what is like to be a millionaire, this is the rental for you. Playa Del Carmen is a wonderful place, we walked from the house to 5th Ave, the main shopping area every evening for food and fun. The beach is world class with cool soft sand. Prices are reasonable everywhere. Tours of local Eco partks are highly recommended. As far as safety in Mexico, here in Playa we never felt anything but completely safe and comfortable. Security is visible everywhere and frankly the people are so warm and welcoming that you quickly feel that you belong here. The tourist crowd here is very international which made for interesting conversations. The entertainment varies from quiet cafes to Vegas style night clubs and everything in between. The shopping opportunities range from high end desinger clothing and jewelry to children selling bracellets. If you want to cook for yourself Walmart has everything you need and the cabs are right there waiting to help you home with your groceries. Use the local ATMs to access your bank account in Pesos, it's very easy and you get the best exchange rate. If you have been waiting, or maybe your a little afraid that this isn't something you could do, stop waiting. Cathy the owner is an expert on Playa she can answer any question you can imagine. She isnt just a faceless rental agent she loves this house and this area and visits regularly. We have every intention of returning as soon as possible. Casa Milagro is luxurious, yet kick-back, the architecture is amazing, and the beds are way too cozy--I did not want to go home! I have booked our vacation there three times and each time we fall more in love with the place. From the time I drove up and parked, to the day I drove away, I felt surrounded by comfort, beauty and relaxation. The place has everything you need, from sun block to shampoo--believe me, you will lack for absolutely nothing. One of my favorite things to do there, besides swim in the pool, is go up on the roof and visit with everyone. The only drawback about the place is that you just never want to leave! The fantastic part, however, is Casa Milagro is centrally located so I walked most of the time and lost 7 pounds even though I ate to my heart's content. If you are planning a trip to Playa Del Carmen, I highly recommend Casa Milagro--and so will you after your first stay.

I love Casa Milagro. it is just the perfect location to walk almost anywhere u want to go. in fact if my luggage wasnt so much i could walk right to the house from the bus station in town! the house is simply indescribable. Much like most of us. and will make ur dreams come true. my rating is extroidinairre

I had the pleasure of staying a Casa Milagro for ten nights. The extra amenities (pool toys, snorkeling gear, guest robes, etc) made it feel more like being a family guest instead of a paying guest. I thought the house was more beautiful than the pictures and loved the location. The second maid we had was unbelievably good. The close location to Playa was wonderful, we walked there almost every day. The pool area was our favorite, spent most of our time sitting by it or laying in it. Would love to come back.
