The 5/BRM 3/BA home is steps from the world famous Hawaii's Big Island historic Kealakekua Bay. People from all over the world come here to enjoy swimming in the warm clear bay water, snorkeling with colorful tropical fish, turtles, and the spinner dolphins.
"Hale Maluhia La‘a" (home of sacred peace,)is a wonderful beach house, nestled among a lush green tropical paradise, along with banana, papaya and fragrant plumeria flowers. A large green lawn surrounds the family (ohana) home, just a few hundred beautiful steps from the bay. Swim with spinner dolphins, go snorkeling and kayaking in the bay. After a swim, rinse off in the Outdoor Shower.
This beautiful home has 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a 3rd floor Great room, and an upper and lower lanai (patio). There is an Elevator to the second floor for those in need.
Sip your Kona coffee on the lanai, or in the Great room.
The Great room is also a wonderful class or dorm room for groups or families. It is a great game room for the kids, while the adults relax on the lanai.
This property can be rented three ways: Full 5 Bedroom house:the Upper House (2nd & 3rd floors), Or the Lower Apartment (1st floor)
The first floor apartment (first floor) has 2 bedrooms, one bath, living room-kitchenette apartment, with a separate garden and lanai.
The upper house (second floor) has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen with blue pearl granite counters which is open to the living room and lanai, and a 3rd floor Great room. The home can be rented together with the lower adjoining apartment, for larger groups, families, or separately. They join together with an inner stairway.
The Great room (Third floor) has gorgeous views of the ocean (makai), Captain Cook’s monument across Kealakekua Bay, and the mountains (mauka), and the tropical sky.
