The "House in the Clouds" provides a taste of old Hawaii with sun, sea and relaxation. This is a perfect tropical retreat for honeymooners or those celebrating an anniversary. The House in the Clouds is a charming home away from home with spectacular views of pasture and mountains and a very close walk to the beach. Our guests enjoy listening to the sound of the ocean and the peaceful atmosphere of this rural location. The owners live on the property in a separate residence and are available to see to your comfort.
The interior has cedar walls, cathedral ceilings with large windows surrounding every room inside. The house, therefore, has much light throughout the day until sunset when the mountain view turns golden. Some of our guests like to spend this time relaxing on the balcony overlooking the pasture. You will enjoy a sunny kitchen complete with everything provided for your cooking delight. The bathroom has both tub and shower. Also, there is another hot water outdoor tropical shower for rinsing off after visiting the beach.
The House in the Clouds has one bedroom with a queen size bed, also a separate, cozy den with large screen TV, DVD player and library.
Many honeymoon couples and adventurers who like getting off the beaten track have enjoyed staying at the House in the Clouds as well as those who simply enjoy nature and renewal. If you are looking for quiet and restful lodging, this house is for you.
This cedar home is high in the air and surrounded by luxurious tropical gardens. The jungle provides a variety of birds, wildlife and complete privacy. Horses can be seen grazing in the pastureland directly behind the House in the Clouds. The best part is that The House in the Clouds is within walking distance to the most beautiful beaches in Kaua'i.
Of all the Hawaiian Islands, nothing compares to the North Shore of Kauai. Even the drive to The House in the Clouds is a scenic wonder as you wind down a road right out of the yesteryears of old Hawaii. You will travel back in time but are only four miles from Hanalei Town.
To ensure privacy and comfort, two guests maximum are allowed.
