Our newly-remodeled, 2 bedroom/2 full bath, air-conditioned vacation Condo features 1000 sq. ft. of tastefully furnished living space. You will find new drapes and a king-size bed in the master bedroom with a full walk-in shower in the adjacent bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed with a tub/shower in the adjoining bathroom. There is a brand new queen-size L-shaped pull-out sleeper couch in the living room for extra guests as well as a new flat screen TV for your viewing enjoyment and new drapes too! A fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances offers everything to you for your mealtime preparations. Enjoy a morning cup of Kona coffee or an afternoon glass of wine on the outdoor furniture located on the lanai as you sit, relax and take in the spectacular view!
We are centrally located near the Maui Ocean Center at Ma'alaea Harbor. There you can make arrangements for any ocean activity -- sport fishing, scuba/snuba and snorkeling excursions to Molokini, whale-watching and sunset-dinner cruises. Four top-rated restaurants are nearby for your dining pleasure. Kaanapali (golf and shopping!), Lahaina (shopping, history and nightlife!), Kihei (groceries/souvenirs!) and Wailea (world-class golf! and shopping!) are just a short drive away. Why the Owner Chose Maalaea
We chose to purchase our vacation home at Kana'i A Nalu because of the beachfront location & easy beach access. Sugar Beach starts right at our doorstep & the beach is never crowded since it's right next to a bird sanctuary. Mike's in the construction business & found the complex at Kana'i A Nalu to be the most structurally sound & well-built on all of Hauoli Street. There's never any traffic/parking problems, so coming here (just 15 mins from the airport) is a breeze!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Mike is an avid golfer & enjoys all the different courses Maui has to offer during his stays. Judy's favorite activities are a little more sedate...AM/PM beach walks, reading lots of books (see our in-house library!) & just plain relaxing! We really like being able to stay in and eat at home instead of having to go out to eat, but if that fancy strikes us, there are great restaurants located close by!
Great for the family's viewing of Hawaiian sea life found in Maui's tropical waters. There's also a great restaurant there sure to please anyone's appetite!
Family fun for all...miniature golfing, rock climbing & bumper boats!
Pacific Whale Foundation (whale watching tours), Maui Dive Shop (all you need for snorkel/scuba diving) shops & restaurants (our favorite is the Ma'alaea Grill)!
Whale watching tours, Molokini Snuba Excursions, Sunset/Dinner crusies, any boating/water/fishing activity you desire!
This bird sanctuary/preserve is right down the beach from Kana'i A Nalu. This land will never be developed, therefore, our beaches will always remain quiet and uncrowded!
Voted the best seafood restaurant on the island of Maui...located just down the street from Kana'i A Nalu @ Milowai!
Great fast food selections to choose from while you're filling up with gas!
Small market with what you might need for a fast re-supply. There's daily fresh selections of beef/chicken/fish. Deli sandwiches made to order for that fun day trip!

Unit #215 is our present "home-away-from-home" spot to enjoy R&R occasionally during the year and especially during the Holidays. It's the greatest place to re-charge those tired batteries. After years of hearing about this special place we finally were able to take a family vacation here! We have had such a wonderful, long stay -- we have SO much to be thankful for!! Our 5 kids have loved exploring this island -- to the Blow Hole, Haleakala, snorkeling with sea turtles, spotting an "early" humpback whale, great sunrise beach -- walks out front, surfing at Kihei & Makena beaches & even rocking through a 4 something earthquake! Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity & the perfect accomodations here! Mahalo & Aloha! We left 3ft of snow at our home near Lake Michigan, had cancelled flight, lengthy delays, a blizzard in Dallas & got here late! It was all worth it! We had a wonderful 2 weeks in paradise. There is so much to see & do in Maui and we managed to pack in everything on our “must do” lists. Your condo is lovely, comfortable and well equipped. When we weren’t out on the road to Hana, Wale Watching, Visiting the Haleakala Crater, etc. we thoroughly enjoyed the beach, pool, grounds and lanai at Kanai A Nalu #215. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. PS – The tsunami warning & evacuation gave us another adventure to talk about back home & we’re so thankful that Maui & the rest of the islands escaped unscathed!
