Enjoy breathtaking views of the famous sunsets over the canal from the heated pool and spa area which are directly on the water. Kitchen is remodeled and has all new appliances with smooth-top stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and is fully stocked, including coffee maker, blender, and electric mixer. The pool and spa are both new and beautiful facing the southwest for long sunny days and breathtaking sunsets. In the evening relax in our spa complete with romantic underwater lighting in both pool and spa with both solar and electric heating systems.

Absolutely beautiful place. Well maintained, excellent, quiet neighborhood. Ladies - near plenty of stores nearby, so bring your charge cards! Restaurants (and a Dunkin' Donuts) galore - but if you must, the kitchen comes well equipped. You are made to feel as though it is YOUR home for the whole vacation. (Complete with garage door remote!) Relax next to (or in) the pool or spa (my fave). Central A/C makes the rest of the time comfy. The wife and I travel a lot and always stay in rental homes rather than hotels/motels when possible. This one merits a definite return. Mike and Theresa - kudos! Thanks for a WONDERFUL trip!

My husband and I vacationed in the home for 2 weeks prior to Christmas 2010. Note that at the time, the house was up for sale. The weather was abnormally cold and we could not get the hot tub or pool above 65/70 even with the solar covers on them in the evenings. After the first week in the home the hot water heater had issues. Mike/Theresa had the plumber out on a Saturday to look at the unit, great response to start the process. The plumber rigged the system to allow some heat, but Mike arranged for a used water to be put into the house on Monday. Issues occurred with the water heater delivery and nothing showed up Monday or the rest of the week. We heard from the plumber a few times early in the week to see if hot water heater delivery had occurred yet, but the homeowner only on the day it happened and Monday when he called to say the new heater would not be going in that day. Because we or the plumber did not know how much hot water we would have from his temporary fix, we held our showers to getting wet, shutting off the water soaping up and then turning it back on and rinsing off. This put a large negative spin on the last week of vacation and may taint this review a bit! Our deposit refund, minus cleaning/electric expenses did not show up until Feb 22 on a vacation that ended Dec 25. I was a bit disappointed that the note with it did not apologize or give any kind of discount for a week without a fully functional hot water heater. The house is comfortable, but would not be for those looking for high luxury. With the rental costs during a week prior to Christmas, the house was a good value. If the hot water had been fixed during our stay, I would probably have given the house a good rating. Positives - EXCELLENT Comfortable Master Bed; FABULOUS Lanai layout Negatives - Hot water heater issues, bathroom wallpaper/flooring/counters need updating, ant issues in bathrooms and computer room, most beach chairs broken, no outdoor cleanup/maint (with the storms it was very apparent)

Why stay at a Hotel? I you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful no stress vacation LOOK NO FURTHER! I have only one regret with the owners my wife and I were not able to meet them in person. They are very prompt in any questions you may have and they make you feel as if you are a close friends in any correspondence you have with them. The property is more then decribed. It is in a very lovely neighborhood and very well maintained. The location is ideal. Minutes away from Ft. Meyers Beach, Sanibel Island and Naples. If exploring is not for you then sit back and enjoy all the amenities this home has to offer. Plush carpet in all the main rooms. Tile in the baths a large shower in the Master bedroom bath. Screened in pool, jacuzi and patio. Not to mention the patio on the canal with seating and a dock. If you are a fisherman You may catch dinner in the back yard! Or simply enjoy the sunset. We stay at many rental properties and I would highly recommend this one. As I said above "why stay at a hotel" When you have all these amenities available to use as your own home!

Our stay here was very enjoyable. A beautiful home that made us feel at home. We especially enjoyed the view of the canal as well as fishing in the canal. Everything was very clean as well as being amply furnished.

What can I say this villa was superb. It was the most relaxing vacation my family has had. The qualiy of finishes was superb. The location was ideal for our needs providing easy access to everywhere of note in the area. The restaurants were varied and gave a good range. The contact information from Theresa and Mike was superb (and they even paid a visit to tidy the garden) which after a few villa vacations was a nice touch. Overall this property provides an at home feel with all the amenities of home, plus some of the most spectaclar sunsets ever. Thanks for letting us stay.

Booked the villa and could not be happier, had a superb 3 weeks of relaxation, the villa itself was spotless and extremely comfortable, with the most amazing double bed in the master bedroom. If there was one fault it was that three weeks was not enough time.
