Oxford Cove Waterfront in Historic Oxford
Year Purchased: 2003
Why the Owner Chose Oxford
The town of Oxford is on a peninsula surrounded on three sides by water. The town has alot of history and has many beautifully restored Victorian homes. You can walk anywhere in town and be by the water. It is a small town with approximately 800 residents both full-time and part-time who are very friendly.
The Unique Benefits at this Waterfront Home
We are right on the water so have direct access to the bay. You can bring your own boat and tie it up to our dock. You can fish and catch crabs. You can kayak and canoe or enjoy the inground pool with waterview. The sun rises over the water in the morning and it is lovely to watch from inside or outside the house. We have alot of wildlife that visit our property from ducks, geese, swans, herons, rabbits, assorted birds, etc. Never a dull moment and every day is a new experience.
Owner's Map of Oxford
We have always loved the Chesapeake Bay and Oxford, Maryland in particular. When the opportunity to purchase the house came up, we were thrilled. It will eventually become our retirement home but now enjoy having it as a vacation rental for families to use. We have met many wonderful families in the last three years who have enjoyed staying at Oxford Cove and exploring the unique area.

This was exactly what we needed. Total relaxation before the school year begins. We visted St. Michael's, Tilghman Island, Annapolis, Easton. Went to the park, road the ferry, walked, biked, kayaked. Pool everyday. Reading looking out over the cove. Sitting on the pier, ice cream from Highland Creamery (a must do!!!), watching the boats go by, star gazing, watching sunrise and moonrise, the quiet breakfast outside, a glass of wine while sitting on the pier. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven. We will cherish this week.

We went canoeing and kayaking, swam in the pool, visited and shopped at St. Michael's and Tilghman Island and went crabbing and fishing. We saw about eight deer at Tilghman Island and found 2 frogs. We played board games and ate at many restaurants where we had crabs and lobster. It was a great vacation!

We kayaked, biked, swam in the pool Read, relaxed, shopped/explored town. Cooked dinners on the grill. Watched movies at night. We were going to go to St. Michaels but we didn't want to leave the house and Oxford. Saw ducks, swans, geese, bunnies, etc. Loved being able to relax in the hammock and sitting in the adirondack chairs by the water. Listening to the sound of the water, ice cream at Highland Creamery is the best! We stocked up on food at Acme in Easton and at Eason's produce stand. Also, the Oxford Farmer's Market had great items. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and its amazing views. We had such a wonderful time!
