This was a wonderful place to bring the whole family for Thanksgiving. The open living room, dining room and kitchen meant everyone was always togther even when the cooking was going on. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Below the main snow level this early in the winter, access to the home and local shopping and other amenities is easy. But we were just 20 minutes from the snow tubbing and skiing. The home is well equipped and we just had a great time.

This was our second stay in this lovely vacation home. So relaxing with beautiful views of the river. Whether it's sitting out by the river, watching a movie, a rousing game of pool, or a home cooked meal in the wonderful open style kitchen, one is sure to have a great vacation. Highly Recommend!

Our group had a great time staying at this extremely roomy and comfortable house! Everything was as stated and the owners were very prompt with responses. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Mt. Hood!

We had a family get together with 10 of us from all over Texas - this was the perfect property for us. The home is steps away from the Salmon River, surrounded by trees, with all the amenities you could get in any other home . We went whitewater rafting, took a trip to Cannon Beach to see Haystack rock, had a great breakfast buffet at Timberline Lodge, did the Adventure Park at Ski Bowl, hiked Mirror Lake, went to wineries in the Hood River valley, and took a must see trip to Multnomah falls. Loved to eat at Zig Zag, don't miss their breakfast on the weekends. Also had a nice meal at Altitude, the restaurant at the Resort at the Mountain. Weather was perfect in late July, 50 - 75 degrees each day, no rain. All 10 of us had plenty of room and the house offers a first rate kitchen, game room, books, board games, and more. Highly recommend the Lodge and hope to return soon.

We really enjoyed the jungle scenery on the lot, the beautiful home and the best part we got to meet our son-in-law's lovely family. We hope to come back! Thank you!

Our family spent two days together at the Salmon River Lodge, a mini-retreat that included nine adults and seven small children. Although it rained the entire time, we still enjoyed our time together. There was plenty of space, and we were able to play games and enjoy good fellowship. This place feels very isolated and private; the living area looks out on the Salmon River. Very peaceful!

Walked around Trillium Lake - a sweet little 2 mile trek; Cocktails at Timberline Lodge bar - what a treat! Started snowing while at the Lodge -- exciting trip down the mountain!

Family vacation with friends! It was sunny & beautiful! We went to the Fruit farms, the men went fishing while the girls hung out, drove to see Mt. St. Helens; saw fish hatchery & the locks dam. Multnomah Falls is a must see! Don't miss the pizza place - "the best pizza on the mountain." Zig Zag Pizza

We absolutely LOVED your home! So relaxing and nicely appointed. Had all the comforts of home. The sound of the stream was so soothing; we could hear it throughout the house. We will be back! Linda S
