This place exceeded our expecations, location could not be more perfect, so near stores, shopes, church and so peaceful. I would recommend this location to anyone. We had extra snacks given to us upon arrival, we were made to feel at home, she was very helpful in directions and sites to see. You wont go wrong staying here for sure.

We are family of four ( two teenage daughters ) and we absolutely loved staying in this apartment. Location couldn't be better, close to everything, grocery store around the corner, shops and restaurants down the street, a very interesting church just up the street ( go to the tower - beautiful view ). Description of the apartment is accurate, clean and well maintained, very comfy beds and blankets, dark shades are important in the summer, walked everywhere. It was very easy to make all arrangements. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. We are thinking of going back. Thank you very much!
Owner response:Thanks Larisa Glad you liked the flat and everything was alright for you Gauja

My husband and children (ages 12 and 14) stayed here for 3 nights, and we were very happy with the experience. The apartment was clean and the posted photographs are accurate. There was plenty of room for us, our big children and all of our bags. The water pressure in the shower is great. The location of the apartment is close to downtown and museums, but is on a relatively quiet part of a street near galleries and art stores. We were not disturbed by "party" noises at night. We just read an exciting thriller, Michael Ridpath's "Where The Shadows Lie", which is set in Iceland. My husband unknowingly bought the book in a bookstore mentioned in the book! If you have been to or are planning to visit Iceland, it's a fun read because you will recognize many of the locations mentioned in the book.

The owner was very helpful and was in regular contact for any questions we had. He even gave us tips on where to go etc. There were children's toys left for our boys to play with and so they had a great time too.

We stayed at Felicia's Flat for 3 nights before flying up north of Iceland. We have stayed in varioius hotels in Reykjavik before and this was our first time renting an appartment. We loved it and shall definately book it again. It was homely, ideally situated for getting around without a car, lovely and clean and also a very useful 'welcome pack' of groceries which was appreciated. Having the internet was a bonus. Great value for money. Thankyou

Our family spent a weekend staying in Felicia's flat in July of 2010. The flat is so amazing! It's comfortable and incredibly clean. The beds are remarkably cozy. It's wonderful to be able to just walk down the street to shops and cafes. We would highly recommend a stay here. We hope to return one day soon.

Despite arriving at 1am we were greeted by Juliette who had provided us with provisions sufficient to get our holiday started. A clean, well- maintained flat with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Good sized bedrooms and plenty of wardrobe space sufficient for 4 adults. Homely furnishings and entertainment gadgets to keep adults and children amused should you choose to stay in. Kitchen with all mod cons (except washing machine & only fridge box freezer section) and with the nearest supermarket a stone's throw away (open till 11.30pm) cooking- in is easy. However, due to a selection of good restaurants (Italia & Curosco's very good) within 10mins walk we ate out most of the time. Shopping streets & city sights within a few mins. walk ( enough for 2-3days without the need for a car). There is more to Iceland than Reykjavik and in our 5days we drove to geysirs, waterfalls, blue lagoon, black beach (near Vik), whale watching & glaciers. We hired a 4WD and found driving quite easy (roads are not busy by UK standards even in the city) unless a blizzard blew up or there was too much ice). The highlight was our drive on to the glacier which can only be reached by super jeep (we used IcelandonTour). Our driver was very knowledgeable ( showed us lots of local sights), great fun (even when he had to dig us out) & spoke good English (highly recommend). Would recommend this flat & holiday. Could not fault anything. However, depending on the disability, this flat would be inaccessible (due to steps to front door) and Reykjavik is hilly. Many sights would be difficult for wheelchairs also.

Excellent location, right in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. Convenient to the main shopping street and tourist attractions. Excellent landlord, who added a nice touch by providing us with some food necessities that were helpful as we arrived early in the morning (from the U.S.)
