This elegant and confortable apartment is located Via S. Spirito, an ancient Florentine street with medieval-renaissance-baroque buildings still owned by noble family - like Frescobaldi, Lanfredini, Capponi, Medici and Manetti Palace -, and very close to the famous Ponte S. Trinita that leads to Via Tornabuoni and most important antiquarian's street Via Maggio. It is only 5 minutes away from Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria and Uffizi Gallery, 7 minutes walk from the Duomo.It has been recently beautifully restored, furnished and decorated. It is on the fourth floor ( whitout elevator ) and consist of: large living-dining room with kitchen area, double sofa bed + an extra foldable single bed ( sleeping 3 ), upstair matrimoniale bedroom with skylight, 2 full bathrooms with shower, one on each level. Bright, quiet, high standard furniture ( mostly antiques ), typical florentine cotto floor and wooden beamed ceilings. Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by the hostess. You will find also a complmentary bottle of Chianti wine and assorted continental breakfast package.
PS. Please note that the kitchen table can be enlarged, because is pliable, to allow confortable up to 5/6 persons with connections seats.
Only very little and well educated dogs are accepted !
Coffee shops and bars, ice cream shops, pastry, trattorias, restaurants and pizzerias, street market on Piazza S. Spirito, and all kind of shopping facilities.
Distances: main train station, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti and Uffizi Gallery, Piazza Signoria, Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica are only ten to fifteen (10-15) minutes away by walk.

This review is long overdue, but our wonderful experience staying in the apartment is still fresh in our minds. When we return to Florence we will definitely stay in this super clean, nicely decorated, great location apartment. The owner is absolutely amazing and was very attentive to every detail. We have already referred this apartment to other travelers! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

We had a wonderful three nights in Florence and due in large part to our stay in this comfortable and well maintained apartement. From the start we felt right at home as Angela met us there upon arrival and took the time to show us where everything was and how everything worked, The location is great, nearby several good restaurants (we found our best meals in Italy in a rtestaurant we dined at twice in Piazza San Spitirto, just a very short walk from the apartment). Convenient to all the sites in florence, highly recommended !

Angela, Just wanted you to know what a terrific time we had while we were in Florence. Your apartment made us feel like true Florentines. Every day we would go out sightseeing and then have a two hour lunch, with wine of course. On the way home we would pick up things for a light supper. It was fun to shop in the little shops for bread, desert, wine, fresh pasta and everything we needed. We got to be old friends with the manager of the pastry shop at the end of the Ponte Vecchio. What a charming fellow he is and it was nice to be recognized when we walked in. The apartment was everything we hoped for and more when we booked it. The loft bedroom is charming and it was great to have a bathroom on that floor. Again thank you for the basket of goodies and the bottle of wine....All the best, Barbara and Mike

Our month in Florence was made that much better by staying in your Santo Spirito apartment. The apartment was well appointed and made more spacious by the sleeping loft/bedroom upstairs with bathroom. We spent many evenings having dinner with candles at the lovely antique table. The Santo Spirito neighborhood was well located for walking all over Florence and had great restaurants, green grocers, wine shops, pastry shops and a daily open morning market at the Santo Spirito Piazza. It was a luxury to have two bathrooms and a washer/dryer and the kitchen, while small, was well appointed. Friends from Wales visited for 4 nights-which worked quite nicely with the upstairs sleeping quarters and second bath. Angela was a wonderful hostess. Our flight from Paris was delayed for hours and she graciously met us at the apartment 5 hours after we had thought we would arrive. She also printed museum tickets for us and the welcome basket of breakfast items and a bottle of Tuscan wine was very lovely and much appreciated. To get to know the green grocer and the pasty shop owner was the best-it all added to a wonderful adventure with art, history, food and people watching. Having the apartment just made all of that better.
