Located in the heart of Louisville’s resurgent historic district, The Mayflower has a storied history of its own. Built in 1926, this beaux-arts style long-term stay hotel boasts among its famous guests, President Harry Truman. Now no longer a hotel, the building was converted to residential apartments but still occasionally has unique, short-term, furnished rental available.
The Mayflower is a smart and affordable alternative to other more expensive accommodations during Derby, conveniently located between Churchill Downs and Downtown Fourth Street Live, just off Fourth Street in Old Louisville. University of Louisville is less than a mile from the building.
The Endicott Suite, featured here, is a one bedroom, two full bath, executive suite located on the top floor of The Mayflower. It is comfortably appointed and, being located on the ninth floor, it makes a wonderful place to stay. There is a fully-equipped kitchen area as well as ample closet space. There is an extra sofabed in the living room for extra accommodations (maximum four). There are views of Louisville’s colorful skyline from all the windows, and a wet bar in the living room, making the unit excellent for light entertaining.
Other furnished suites may be available. Please contact us about availability. |
