Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
After vacationing and visiting Colorado and Breckenridge many times, we found that there were still so many things that we wanted to do in and around Breckenridge. This still holds true after living just over an hour away for almost five years.
The Unique Benefits at this Duplex/Home
This truly is a home away from home. We insist on maintaining a well-stocked vacation rental so you can experience Breckenridge and all that it has to offer. After being vacation renters ourselves, we understand what is needed to make any getaway more enjoyable!
Owner's Map of Private Homes
Julie and Scott Heck have always had a love for the mountains and outdoor adventure. After visiting Colorado and Breckenridge many times they were fortunate enough to relocate to the Denver area in 2004. By budgeting carefully after moving from California, they were able to purchase a condo in Breckenridge shortly thereafter. They have updated and upgraded the Christiana condo and currently manage its rentals. Since they began renting the condo when they were not using it, and it had such a high rental demand, they purchased 67 Gold King during the summer of 2007. Gold King is a three-bedroom plus den, three and a half bath home in the mountains alongside Peak 10 also in the town of Breckenridge. They continue to enjoy all the year round activities that Breckenridge has to offer. Julie and Scott especially love to ski, with their two children who prefer snowboarding in the winters. During the summers, they enjoy amazing hikes, biking all around Summit County, whitewater rafting, and going to explore nearby towns. They invite you to enjoy their homes away from home and are sure you’ll come back to Breckenridge again and again. Get ready to enjoy experiences that will continue throughout your lifetime!

Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful long weekend in Breckenridge and thoroughly enjoyed the condo, you have a wonderful home! I wanted to let you know that the propane tank is empty. We hooked up the spare from the garage and put the empty canister in the garage. Also, I apologize but a handle on one of your water pitchers broke off while we were washing dishing in the sink. We left the pitcher and the handle on the ledge above the sink. Otherwise I think everything went very well. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again next year and the group agreed that your condo is one of our favourites. (Via email)

We are loving your wonderful home in Breck. It is perfect for our family. It feels like a home rather than a rental. If no one is renting on Monday we would like to pay to extend our checkout until 1:00 pm. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you again for a fabulous vacation. (Via email)

The place was great and we had a great time. Thanks for all your help. Hope the house was cleaned up to your satisfaction. Getting there Thur night was tasking due to the storm but we did make it. We ski'd Breck the 1st day, Vail the second and Breck again the 3rd. Being men also, we did not do a good job of reading directions for the part of skiing back to the house from the mountain. We kind of roughed it going up Quicksilver, climbing up the hill and then going into the woods (only 2 of us tried this). We got stuck in about 4-5 feet of snow (out of energy trying to get out) and I ended up calling ski patrol on my cell to help us out. I think as it was end of day and 1st day there and were still adjusting to altitude may have contributed. After getting back to the house and re-reading your directions, I realized we didnt enter at exactly right point and shouldn't have been trying that location. (Via email)
