Sitting on 200 feet of spectacular palm filled oceanfront, Bahamas Castaway is a 2150-square-foot beachfront home overlooking the magnificent turquoise waters and pink sand beaches of Double Bay. Relax and unwind on the large multi-level deck surrounded by natural tropical landscaping. The expansive deck has plenty of outdoor seating for dining, lounging, sunning, barbecuing, and entertaining. Castaway was built to catch the warm Bahama breezes and tropical views to make you feel at home in paradise. If you can pull yourself off the deck you are only but a few steps away from gorgeous Double Bay.

Castaway is a spacious, three-bedroom, one den, two-bath home decorated in the tropical island style with all the amenities of home. The main living area of the home has an open relaxed airy feeling with high ceilings, paddle fans, a wall of windows and two large sliding glass doors that open to the extensive deck. The kitchen has everything any cook would need including a cooking island with an Jenn-Aire stove and a side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water.

Castaway can accommodate several families or groups of up to ten people. There are two master bedrooms, each with sliding glass doors that open to their own section of the deck where you will enjoy the gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean. A third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds each with a single on top and a standard on bottom. The den has a queen-size sofa sleeper.

Eleuthera is one the Out Islands of the Bahamas. If you are looking for crowded beaches, large resorts and hotels, casinos and nightclubs, then Eleuthera is not for you. What you will find is peace, quiet, solitude, and the friendliest people around. You come to Eleuthera to breath, relax, escape, live, and play.

  • Simply paradise. We visited Bahamas Castaway in January 2008 and could not have been happier. Great house, spectacular views, and convenient to good resturants and other beaches if you feel the need. Hope to be back soon . If you want to relax and unwind this is the place to be!!

  • Our family stayed at Bahamas Castaway for a week in Jan. '06 and had a wonderful time. If you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy the wonderful beach and the peaceful area this is the place for you. We only saw five other people on the beach the entire week. The new house has everything you need to enjoy fun fulled days and nights weather it is reading, snorkeling boating or just sitting or resting on the beach. We found John the site manager only a (supplied) cell call away if we had a question. We had Annis come in to cook for us and she was a joy. Don't miss the farm stand about a mile or so on the left back up Queens Highway towards GH. Clyde has pick your own salad and bread, honey etc that are out of this world. All in all once you go you will want to stay.

  • If you want a beautiful view, only steps away from the beach, in a quiet location, then this is the house for you. It is a new home with all the amenities. Owner prompt and helpful; quite a value. We have already booked a return for next year!
