This home sits on a 3/4 acre private wooded lot in an amenity filled community. It is also conveniently located near a variety of major attractions such as Big Boulder and Jack Frost Ski Resorts and Poconos Whitewater Rafting and Skirmish. Get the best of all worlds with recreational options so versatile, even the most finicky of family and friends will find contentment!
Many recent updates, including all new flooring, windows, furnishings, dishwasher, washer, dryer, 8 foot slate pool table, foosball and detail cleaning, contribute to making this vacation home a must stay for travelers in the Poconos. The main floor of this charming home has a spacious living room and kitchen, characterized by a catwalk that spans the length of the cathedral ceiling and stairs leading to a hardwood loft. It has a truly unique, yet rustic appeal. The main level also has two bedrooms, a full bath, fireplace, and sliding glass doors leading to a large wrap-around deck.
On the loft, you will find another bedroom area with privacy suitable for adults, but can be perfect for the kids also (they can pretend they're in a tree house, yet you can still keep an eye on them). The lower level of the home has a second living area with a game room, fireplace, bedroom and bath.

Absolutely beautiful park with a lake, beach, fishing, swimming, etc.! Highly recommended as a great alternative to Lake Towamensing!

Check out this original coal mine which is just outside of Jim Thorpe.

Large outdoor shopping village in Tannersville with some hard to find brands and super discounts.

This park includes a natural ‘Boulder Field’ which is an amazing site to see.

There are several good golf courses in the area. This is just one that we found to have a lovely scenic course in Kresgeville.

As you may have heard, the 190 acre lake in the Towamensing Trails community will be closed during the 2009 summer season for maintenance. As a fantastic alternative to the community lake, the beautiful and scenic Beltzville State Park Lake is highly recommended (more info above & website at bottom). All other community amenities, including the pool and club house will remain open.
With these amenities and the list of area attractions above, there is something for everyone! Needless to say, you and your loved ones will be delighted to find that you can have a very fulfilling and affordable summer family vacation at our home in the heart of the Poconos.
