This has been our best Poconos trip ever! The pictures and description of the house don't lie - this is indeed what you get. Together with our children (4 and 8 years old) we spent a fall weekend there. And despite the cold and rainy weather, we were busy exploring the lake, the woods, and surrounding areas. The house is rustic, very children's friendly, extremely clean, and super cozy. Constance, the home owner, did a great job communicating with us. She always answered our emails promptly, patiently and in a very professional manner. This house comes with bikes, a canoe and a kayak, so it really can't get better than that! We can't wait to return there in the summer to take advantage of the many amenities that the place has to offer. So we will be back! Thanks, Connie! ~ The Watson Family from Media, PA

What a great week we had in Pinecrest Lake....The home exceeded our expectations, very well kept, clean, cozy, spacious...and in the perfect location...30 second walk to the beautiful lake, 5 minute walk to the pool, 3 minute walk to the Marina...5 minute drive to a fantastic restaurant (Jubilee)...10 minute drive into town.........quite convenient.. The community was peaceful, quiet, serene, upscale & pretty as a picture....loved the trails for morning walks...the fishing was awesome, I caught @ least 10 largemouth Bass...... Dealing with Connie was the best part, she is a pleasure to deal with...I wish I was still sitting on the deck gazing at the lake....I will most certainly be back.... If you are thinking of renting this house, I would not hesitate, It is really a special property...... Thanks Connie Kenny

My husband, mother-in-law and three sons just returned from a very enjoyable, fun and relaxing summer vacation here in this lovely,charming home, which has every amenity. The Rowells are so nice and Connie has thought of everything. No need to ask a question because every bit of information you will need or think of has been answered and Connie has it conveniently displayed in the home. The spaces I enjoyed most were the sunroom and the deck. My boys love the pool and the lake, which is in walking distance of the home. The scenery is beautiful all around Pinecrest Lake and the community. Other activities we enjoyed that are conveniently nearby, ice cream, mini golf and camel beach water park. We will definitely be back again. Thanks again Connie for helping to make our family vacation very memorable.

This is the 2nd year we rented this property. The owners are wonderful people and we love the house and the location. It is located in an upscale Lake community with all the amenities and no hassle of a gated entrance.. The weather was perfect. Loved the new appliances! Megan & Joe Rooney

just returned from an extended weekend for my daughters wedding. I can not thank connie enough,for all her kindness and help.The house was great with all the amenities and little extras everywhere.Plenty of room/space for everyone.My son daughter-in-law and their 3 children stayed with us they loved the hiking trails and lake area(right out our back door ).They did not get a chance to use the boats (but were available ,if we had more time.) check in/check out times were very flexible.location was great 5 miles from wedding site ,close to walmart/kmart grocerie store,fast food restaurants and gas.THANKS!!

We had a wonderful weekend at this very charming and beautiful house celebrating my mom birthday. Everything was perfect: community location, great views of the lake, the wonderful kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, great deck and grill, convenient path to the lake, beach and marina. Very nice experience with Constance, she is really warm and kind person who made us felt welcome. Thanks so much for a great family holiday.

Couldn't have been happier with the accomodations, location, and the hospitality. We came up for a long weekend over the Superbowl. The path to the lake was really helpful. The kids played ice-hockey right on the lake and we could see them from the sun room. The house is so cozy we really didn't want to leave. The kitchen table with the bench was perfect for all the kids while the adults enjoyed eating in the sunroom looking out at the beautiful view. We loved being able to bring our dog and not have to feel guilty leaving her at home. The entire area around the house was well maintained, quiet, and everything we could've asked for. Can't wait to come back!

We had a WONDERFUL long Ski Weekend at the house - 27 - 30 Jan 2011. Convient Location: Close to I 80 and I 380, Roads were well maintained by the community with all the snow we experienced House was very private but accessable; Warm and well appointed - (new high-end appliances were really nice). Useful Mudroom for entry and exit into the elements. Great walks around the lake with the dog and to enjoy nature.

"We spent a long weekend with our son & 2 granddaughters who live in NE Pa... The house worked beautifully so much better than a motel.(no traffic or road noise but with space & privacy) It even gave us the opportunity to have extended family visit. The house is comfortable, roomy, well stocked with quality items as advertised.. (we've stayed in other vacation rentals before and were disappointed with "early college" dishes & furnishings). Connie couldn't have been more accommodating with any request or question we had. Unfortunately, because of our short time there we weren't able to take advantage of the amenities but we will on our return! We did enjoy walks to the lake and around the neighborhood. (very friendly) The house is convenient to some good restaurants.. Amando's Pizza & Bailey's Steak & Seafood, Close to grocery stores. we would not only recommend this home but will stay there again."

This home is warm and inviting. It is in one of the better commmunities with ample space to hike, bike ride and fish. We just spent the Columbus weekend with another family and 4 small children under 6. Everyone had a wonderful time, relaxing and playing. A Wonderful Vacation Rental for People (and dogs!) of All Ages!

I stayed at this home for a week this summer with my mom and our two Labradors, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the home, location, and property owners. We were greeted upon our stay and given a personal tour of the house, community, and marina. The home had everything we could possibly need. The close location to the lake made it easy to take the dogs for a swim. Everything else in the community (pool, marina) was within walking distance, and restaurants were just a short drive away. Prior to our stay, the owners responded quickly to any questions I had, and provided me with numerous pictures of the property and community. My rental deposit was returned promptly after I returned from my vacation. It was wonderful to have the owners greet us upon our stay and take the time to show us around--they were both so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing week away! :)

Canoeing, swimming, televisions in all rooms, great seating, good lights for reading, games, wonderful location in charming lake community. The house is very well-appointed, spotless, and Constance is topnotch. This place has so much to offer: pictures don't capture the 'perfectness' of it. Jubilee for 2-2-2 breakfast was good, mini golf nearby, Hickory Run Park close too. Happiness for 3 generations of guests!

Wonderful vacation

We loved this charming house and the view of the lake. The community is upscale and the amenities were amazing. We were able to walk to the Lake and the pool. The boys loved the canoe and the kayak. We stayed for a week in July and there were NO CROWDS. The tennis courts were very nice. A couple rainy days, but the rest of the time, the weather was fine. We found a local bowling alley and played alot of games. We loved the house and the amenities! When we arrived, the owners were there to greet us and show us around the house and the community. It was a great vacation.

Vacation made of memories

What a wonderful time our family of six had at this cozy home! We loved the house, especially the sunroom - it was so peaceful to sit there with our morning cup of coffee! The location of the house in the community is wonderful! We never moved our car. The pool, lake beach, marina...are all within a few minutes walking distance. The other great thing about the house was the use of the canoe and kayak. Our family had a great time using those! It was such a blessing to see my husband totally relax each evening after dinner as he went fishing in the canoe on the lake. Our communication w/Connie was great! It was so fun to meet her after our months of correspondence. It was a vacation made of memories as all of our children head away to college soon. Thanks for a great time!

Constance, Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful and a memorable weekend. And I can't appreciate enough all the amenities you have at your home especially the kitchen. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. Little details like instructions about everything and little thoughtful things for the kids made our stay absolutely comfortable. We had a wonderful time boating and kayaking, biking, walking the trails and BBQ was great. The child in our group had a lot of fun playing with the toys. Easter Weekend 2010

We stayed here for a relaxing Easter Weekend. Our two young girls really enjoyed the "Snoopy" room with a set of bunk beds. Larger than described online. Owners were extremely friendly. We loved the log burning fireplace in the evenings. Owners were very flexible regarding check in/check out times. Again, can't say enough about the owners. Enjoyed the trails around the property.

Great weekend getaway!

My boyfriend, 2 dogs and I just returned from a great weekend in the poconos. The house sits right next to the lake and provides a great view from the sunroom. We sat out on the enclosed deck and played cards and enjoyed the sun & the view. Saturday we went to Camelback to attempt skiing. Luckily the house was about 15 min away so we had a short ride back after we decided that skiing was a bad idea. Food shopping & Walmart were also very close as well as many local nearby restaurants. The house itself was very, very nice. In person the house was much nicer than we had orignally expected from the pictures. We actually came to the poconos a week before and stayed somewhere else, it was no comparison. The master bed was very comfortable and there was a new LCD tv in the bedroom which is not in the pictures. The house in general was very well kept and very clean. The washer/dryer was an additional plus. Constance we always reachable by phone, she was flexible with check-in, check-out times. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this house. Can't wait to return this summer!

Great house in a lovely community

We just returned from a week's stay in June 2008. We loved the house - our entire family particularly loved the cozy dining/sitting room and its great views of the lake. We really appreciated your home's amenities (the wonderful kitchen, comfy beds and chairs, great deck and grill), as well as all the thoughtful details like the booster seat, children's toys, great reading lights and tvs in the bedrooms, and the local newspapers and information on the community that you had throughout the house. The Pinecrest community was great. My dad enjoyed his morning stroll through the woods and around the lake, my mom spent countless hours sketching the outdoors from the dining room, and our toddler loved the pool and lake (as did all the adults). Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and nice. We also loved your suggestions on where to eat - the 2-2-2 breakfast at the Jubilee was a hit with everyone.
