My family and I have just returned home to the UK after spending a most enjoyable month at this Ocean Keyes condo. We found the condo to be beautifully presented, in an excellent position (overlooking the lake) within the gated community and ideally located to take advantage of the many attractions and facilities on offer in the North Myrtle Beach area. The condo is extremely well equipped and furnished. Our host, Gerry, is very approachable and readily provided information and responses to any queries. On site, Don was a willing provider of assistance as and when required. Thank you Gerry for the opportunity to share your "home from home" - we had a great time.

Hi Gerry, Just a quick note to say that we have vacated your condo and are spending and hour or two with our son & family prior to setting off on our return journey home to the UK. I'll be in further contact with you when we are settled back at home but, in the meantime, I would just like to say how much we have enjoyed staying at #3425 Ocean Keyes and that we appreciate the "unhurried" departure this morning. For the first time during our stay I was unable to establish an Internet connection at the condo this morning. It was not a problem and I certainly did not attempt any interference with your router etc. It was probably just a blip. Regards, Roger

Gerry, You have a very nice beach house and we had a great time. What would your rate be typically for the first week of August? My parents go every year and their place is about a half a mile from yours. But we simply can't fit into their condo and so we'd need to rent a place in the future. Best regards, Jeff

Our family stayed in this unit in August 2011. We had a very enjoyable stay. The place was exactly as advertised in the listing. The things we liked were: 1) The unit itself is in great condition. It is nicely decorated, spacious, and clean. It overlooks a nice lake at Ocean Keyes. 2) The Ocean Keyes complex is a nice place as well. It is well-maintained with lots of trees and manicured landscaping. It is a relaxing place to be. 3) Location - this is a good location in North Myrtle Beach. It's approximately a 2,500 foot walk to the beach, or you can usually finding parking at the beach if you want to drive. Also, it's close to lots of restaurants, golf courses, and shopping. I enjoyed dealing with Gerry. He was easy to work with and did what he said he was going to do. Our family would highly recommend this unit.

An awesome experience in North Myrtle Beach

We had a great time at the condo. Our stay was comfortable, we loved the decor and all the amenities that came with the property. The pools were great and such a short walk to the beach. It is close to all the attractions, but far enough away that you feel relaxed and seperated from the chaos. My daughters loved their own rooms and the two full bathrooms were perfect with five people. We would definitely stay here again.

We rented this unit for our 2 daughters & families (Husbands & 3 yr. old daughters). It was a beautiful unit with everything we needed. So happy we found it! The owner was so friendly and very helpful. There was always a prompt reply to any communication. Our vacation was wonderful and stress free. Would definitely rent this again.

We had a wonderful vacation at Ocean Keyes in North Myrtle Beach. This condo was extremely well kept, clean, and had up to date furnishings. It had everything we needed--even beach chairs and items to use at the ocean. The screened porch was a favorite place to relax especially with the sounds of the fountains and watching the geese and ducks! It is also very private. We have stayed in several condos in the Ocean Keyes community and this is our favorite so far! We will definitely be back.

Thanks Gerry for allowing us to rent your condo again this year for the month of April. ( We rented for April 2010 and April 2011) Once again we arrived knowing it was exceptionally clean and tidy.Thanks to Don and his wife. We love the location of the condo as we can walk to the beach or to shopping if we desire. Also we enjoy the quiet location away from the hussle and bussle of Myrtle Beach. We also enjoy the view over the lake from the balcony. We find this location very handy to many golf courses, Outlet shopping and restaurants.When we had children and grandchildren visit us we enjoyed using the pools,hot tubs and tennis courts. Having previously stayed directly on the beach in a highrise condo we much prefer this location for the privacy,peacefulness and friendly people in the complex. When you walk in the front door you immediately notice that the decor is warm and cosy. Thanks again to Gerry and your family and we look forward to our visit again next year for April 2012.

Hello Gerry; Just wanted to let you know how much Carol and I enjoyed our stay in your Condo. The place was beautiful and much more enjoyable that just staying in a Hotel room. We had a great time in Myrtle beach watching all the dancers doing the Shag. I had talked to you maintenance man on the phone about the front door handle being very loose, it all worked ok but it was loose. He said he would check into it. He seemed like a very nice person. Excellent location and well kept condo. We usually pack everything we need to cook a few meals, but just in case you forget anything, there is a good chance the Leen's will have it in their kitchen. The price is very reasonable and you will not be dissapointed. Our family will be back.

Gerry, Thanks for the awesome stay. We have stayed at Ocean Keyes in the past, but this was the first time at your unit, and we love it! The decor made us feel very at home...and our kids had a lovely time. We especially loved the quiet of the lake view rather than the pool. Also, your pre-stay organization was tops! Everything you sent us prior made us feel very at ease when we got there. And, your clean up policy was a breeze! We will be back on our next Myrtle Beach visit!

Hi Gerry, We spent a wonderful week at your condo which is very nice and well supplied with everything we need and more. When we got there, the place was very clean. Beach umbrella, chairs and boogie boards were also available and it was much appreciated. Even the children appreciated their breakfast on the porch. Ocean Keyes site is very nice, quiet and clean. Children could go around safely. We were a family of 8 and it was our first time at Myrtle Beach. Thanks to Gerry for his quick reply everytime we had a question. Hi Gerry: Kathy and I wish to thank you for allowing us to rent your home over Memorial Day weekend. We were very pleased with the accomodations, proximity to the beach, and the fact that the area was not very crowded. We were also pleased that the condo was in close proximaty to grocery stores and resturaunts and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The lay-out in terms of three bedrooms also worked very well for the four of us. We particularly like getting up and enjoying our morning coffee while looking out over the lake. We look forward to staying with you again in the near future and would recommend your home very highly to others.

Hi Gerry: Well, again we enjoyed our 3 month winter stay at your lovely condo. Everything in the place was in good working order and when we needed a small kitchen sink drain repair done your maintenance man was there in less than 15 minutes after I called....very impressive service. This past winter we had even more neighbors from our community wintering at various condos in Ocean Keyes..9 couples in total this year from Wasaga Beach Ontario!!! (up from 7 couples in 2008) During our stay we had the opportunity to visit each and every one of them and see their accomodations....without doubt, the consensus amongst our friends was that your place is the best equipped and maintained unit. It was also the hands-down winner when it came to tasteful decorating and premium lake view. Ocean Keyes' close proximity to the ocean, shopping, and restaurants as well as the overall pleasantness of North Myrtle Beach makes this location our first choice for our winter getaway. Gerry and Arlene, We had another great week at your condo. Thanks so much for keeping it on the rental market. The view of the lake puts it far and above the rest, even in beautiful Ocean Keyes. Thanks also for the use of the pack-n-play and high chair. And we loved the addition of the kiddie cups, plates and utensils. We even watched one of the kid's movies that you had on hand. We enjoyed lovely meals at nearby at Wild Wings, BW3 and Captain George's Seafood (Broadway at the Beach) and ate at one of the best Olive Garden's we have ever been to (Barefoot Landing). The only misfire was that the power went out in Ocean Keyes one night for about 3 hours during the Olympics. We probably wouldn't have even noticed except that we were up late watching gymnastics. We weren't sure if there was some place we were supposed to call and report the outage. I seem to recall there was a flashlight somewhere, but in the dark, I couldn't remember or find it. We had a great time in your beautiful condo. We even met another owner who was gracious enough to let us use some of his beach furniture. A beach umbrella with the post that drills into the sand is a must. The area has everyhthing we needed. The beach, Walmart, BW3, Dollar General etc.. were all within a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute walk. The gated community keeps traffic to a minimum and we never had to worry about our safety. Wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely pass on the good word. As an owner of a time share in the Orlando area, I have a hard time seeing myself justifying that extra 12 hour drive. Gerry thank you for refunding our security deposit very quickly. One note to your future visitors ,if you plan on visitng Jimmy Buffet's Margariteville, get your name in early. The wait was almost 4 hours one night then 2.5 hours the next early afternnon.

Gerry/Arlene: We very much enjoyed our 3 months at your beautiful Ocean Keyes Condo. Donna and I have been wintering in Myrtle Beach and area since I retired in 2004. We've rented places in Sunset Village at Sunset Beach, Cypress Bay in Little River and River Oaks at 501 and the intercoastal. Your place is the best place we've rented since coming here. It has superior amenities and overall community ambience. The grounds are very well kept and it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach! Although we didn't use the exercise facility, we noticed it was very well equipped with modern equipment. Ocean Keyes is so close to shopping we could actually walk to stores like Walmart, Bi-Lo, Lowes, Dollar Tree and several restaurants, but the area is still very serene and quiet. We recommend TGIFriday's Happy Hour...food is free (5-7pm) and beer is cheap! Also like Buffalo Wild Wing and the Grill house....all walkable and less than 1/2 mile in Gator Hole Plaza. Unfortunatley, we didn't make it to Fat Harold's 1 block away to see the home of the shag dance ....next year for sure! Your place is very tastefully decorated, extremely well appointed with a plentiful supply of dishes, glasses and all necessary pots and pans. It feels like a home, not a rental condo. This is the first place we've rented where we didn't have to go out and buy extra glasses, knives or other missing things. All the systems and appliances were in perfect working order. Also enjoyed the resident Owl when it visited just before dawn several mornings. It perched on the tree outside the lanai and was easy to see in the early dawn light...very exciting. We used both the charcoal barbeque and the gas grill by the pool for cookouts and all worked well. We're absolutely looking forward to our return visit for next winter. We were vey impressed with your condo. My teenage girls had room to spread out so it was a vey pleasant stay. We all enjoyed the available movies. We were able to walk to the beach which was quite busy even in late December. There are great restaurants near by and shopping too. We will come again. You have thought of all the extras!

We stayed in this condo in Aug. 2007. It was BEAUTIFUL! Everything was neat and orderly and clean when we arrived and everything promised was there, plus more. Gerry very graciously provided a high chair and pack-n-play for our baby daughter. There were board games and books. The view of the lake from the family room and master bedroom were gorgeous and the decor of the family, living and eating areas was beautiful, complete with granite countertops and a fully-equipped kitchen that even included pancake mix. We were able to wash our clothes in the washer and dryer and there was a very spacious screened-in porch with chairs on it for us to enjoy the lake view. There were also beach toys in a closet near the unit that we were able to use. Ocean Keyes is a very nicely- appointed condo community. It is quiet and there are several swimming pools to choose from in the complex. It is also right around the corner from many eateries, grocery stores and shops. This was a wonderful vacation experience and Gerry's attention to detail really shows! You will love it here!

We wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful vacation. The Ocean Keyes condo was beautiful and so relaxing---we were THRILLED to see it after our 19 hour drive from Chicago! Everything was so clean and comfortable, we couldn't have been happier. We were afraid the weather wouldn't cooperate for the first two days, but after that it was smooth sailing. We were regulars at the pool and the kids loved every minute. Thanks again. We will definitely contact you again if we make another trip to Myrtle Beach in the future. The condo was great. It was a great combination of peace and quiet (a balcony over the lake) and a 5-10 minute walk or 1-2 minute drive to the beach. North Myrtle is less crowded than Myrtle, so we liked that as well. We liked the condo and would stay there again. Our only wish is that we could bring our dog with us. Other than that is was a great place.

Dear Gerry, We had a wonderful holiday at Myrtle Beach thanks to your fantastically equiped Condo. The shops, restaurants and beach was a close as you promised - well within walking distance and the beach chairs and boogie boards were a real bonus for us. The view from the veranda was spectacular and we really enjoyed watching the Ospreys, Turles and beavers in the Lake. Our 6yr old son especially enjoyed attempting to fish each evening.

Dear Gerry, I wanted to thank you for letting my family and I rent your place for our family reunion. I would also like to thank you for coordinating the renting of two of your neighbor's units as well. With three units we were able to accomodate all 16 of us. You made it easy for us! Your unit was so beautiful and having breakfast beside the lake was a wonderful way to start each day. And you were right! We were able to walk to the beach as you had promised! We appreciated the extras you had there for us; beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, DVDs, books, etc. My brother from Seattle still raves about your place and the community : ) My family and I will 100% come back.
