Mostly it was well. But bad kitchen smell ,due to old groceries in pantry and leaking faucet causing mold under sink. Aluminum doors were in disrepair. Repair workers came in to work on doors while we were there. Spent most of the day working it.They were to come the day earlier when were visiting town. We felt somewhat intruded upon because wrong day and for so long, and the amount of people in there. Left without cleaning up . My wife and I spent over one hour cleaning up floor, electronic equipment, glass windows, and moving furniture back. They had as many as five workers in there at a time. Dining table over head light blinked on and off after the light was turned off for five minutes. No hot water.Recent remodel of unit was nice. TV would turn off, after on for a while, for no apparent reason. DVD/CD player was on it last legs. Salt air plays rough on everything.Beautiful grounds!!! Lots of birds, good snorkeling , every one there was nice to us!!! Great view.!! We notified maintenance of leak, and the owner of the other maintenance problems We would stay there again if the kitchen smells were gone. We did have a good time though. Owner was very helpful. Listing was accurate.

Owner response: We appricate any comments and suggestions from our guests to improve there experiance and stay at our condo in Mexico. The maintanance and repairs for the aluminum doors were scheduled in early January and due to a back log of work the repairs did not go as scheduled before our guests arrived. The work on the folding doors is now complete. Repair of leaking sink is in process and should be finished the week of 2/17/2013. The hot water tanks are on the lower level just outside of the condo and may take longer than expected for the hot water to reach the bathroom and shower.
Relaxing and beautiful!
Relaxing and beautiful!
The condo was comfortable and well equipped. The views are spectacular both above and below the water's surface. (Great snorkeling!) It was the perfect spot to just get away!

My wife and I stayed in this condo in January of 2009, and very much enjoyed the experience. After visiting Vida del Mar, I am of the opinion that the Chiapas building probably has the best location of any from which to enjoy the view. While our experience in seeing the inside of other units is obviously limited, I am also led to believe that #197 is one of the better appointed units. The owner is very concerned that her guests have a positive experience, and certainly went out of her way to solve a very minor problem that we had with internet service. We found the Vida staff to be friendly, helpful, and efficient. Because of the close proximity of the ocean, the sound of the waves can be quite loud, especially at night, and Audrey's advice to bring ear plugs should be heeded. The location is somewhat remote, and unless one has a vehicle, getting into town and back to shop can be expensive and inconvenient. If one is looking for a beautiful place to relax in very comfortable surroundings, I would definitely reccommend it.

Vida was absolutely beautiful! The view from the balcony was breath-taking and the breeze from the ocean was delightful. L'Recif is a wonderful restaurant. I ate there several times during my stay. Having the pool right next to the unit was a nice perk. I think I was in it at least once a day. Thank you so much for the use of your unit!

Fabulous vacation spot. Far better in person than any photo can display. Vida was not only spectacular but so central for all that we wanted to do. Met wonderful people, had a wonderful time. Can hardly wait to return!!!
