Welcome Fall & Winter Visitors!
Our "Bunkhouse at Bearkat Ranch" is a private cabin, newly remodeled. It sits on 14 acres of old pinion pines, elderberry and scrub oaks. We welcome horse people and any size trailer-- there is a large corral and some individual corrals. This is very secluded, but close to the highway for excellent access in all seasons.

The upcoming events in the small mountain town of Wrightwood are:
November 24,25; "Shop at Home"--the town comes alive at night to encourage Christmas shopping right here in town with the many shops
offering their wares, plus hot cocoa, apple cider, cookies, live entertainment, karaoke and much more...it is usually a cold night and everyone is bundled up...the town is full of excitement the whole weekend.

Of course, you can always come up on any weekday or weekend; the town has plenty to offer: great restaurants, antique and gift shops,
with the mountain ambiance embracing each one.

Horse owners will love our location--you can ride off our property into National Forest, and trailer to other trailheads not far away. This is also an excellent lay-over destination for travelers with horses.

Visit us, and relax, or take advantage of the many activities nearby in Wrightwood or Silverwood Lake, not far from us. You can enjoy the surrounding area and return to a cabin all by itself--complete privacy.
