Our spacious, yet intimate, two-story home is 2300 square feet of perfection! Downstairs, guests enjoy three bedrooms each with a queen sized bed (one with a freestanding propane fireplace) and two full bathrooms (one with laundry room), spacious living room with a wet bar and a floating propane fireplace. Upstairs you will find the fully equipped kitchen, family room with a full sized fold-out sofa sleeper, sitting room, dining room, a third full bathroom, and another floating propane fireplace! Our home comfortably sleeps six to eight people(nine, if you have a baby in the crib!) with maximum privacy offered to all guests. More than 9 guests may be accommodated with prior arrangements. The entire home is beautifully furnished and almost every room boasts unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean!
Guests will also enjoy the fully fenced and private backyard. The backyard features two covered patio/decks and a large uncovered patio area for entertaining. There is also a nice lawn area, and beautiful plantings.
Our vacation home is very accommodating for families; there is a two-story playhouse in the backyard that will entertain the children for hours! There is also a crib and high chair available for our guests' convenience!
Whether inside or out, guests will enjoy the relaxing sound of the ocean and the crisp air with beach access just steps from the front door. We are down the street from a public park with a wonderful play structure, minutes to Redwood National Park, Battery Point Lighthouse, Crescent City Harbor, Ocean world, Trees of Mystery, the Smith and Klamath Rivers and 20 minutes to Brookings, Oregon!
Luna del Mar is our personal family vacation home. When we are not vacationing ourselves, we personally manage our rental which ensures individual attention to each guest. We strive to provide a beautiful, exceptionally clean, relaxing, and fun vacation home for our guests. In an effort to maintain our vacation home in a pristine condition, there is absolutely NO SMOKING or NO PETS allowed at our home. Why the Owner Chose Crescent City
My husband and I grew up 20 minutes from the beach. Since moving to Northern California, we missed being able to take a quick ride to the beach. We decided to invest in a vacation home for ourselves and children to be able to vacation whenever we wanted. We love the beauty of the ocean and the North Coast has some of the most beautiful coastline we have ever seen!
The Unique Benefits of this House
When we visit, we spend most of our time down at the beach with our children, looking for sea glass, starfish, or just having a campfire. We have enjoyed many coastal and redwood day hikes. We love ending the day sitting by the warm fireplace enjoying a movie or playing a board game.

We had a wonderful time playing at the beach! The kids enjoyed looking for stones and seashells. What a beautiful view! We enjoyed listening to the ocean.

Perfectly calm weather, very nice temperature and beautiful ocean views - can't beat that! We've loved our beach walks and tide pool searches. The kids loved chasing the waves, building sand castles, and watching the seals and sea lions. The playhouse and local playgrounds were also a lot of fun for them. Enjoyed eating food from the Thai House and the the Harbor View Grotto. We found the house very comfortable, only wished for a larger kitchen/dining area for feeding our crowd! Our beach cookout on our last day was a great way to top-off our week. Hope we can all meet here again next year!

We loved the ocean! We enjoyed listening to it, watching it, walking along it, and even getting in it! We found rocks, shells, hermit crabs, crabs, fish, and sea anemones,right across the street! We saw vultures and pelicans. It was a wonderful experience. Away from the house, we were amazed by the redwoods. Thank you! PS: The playhouse was a big hit!
