Great Oahu apartment rental

The apartment was very clean and homey with extra amenities, including breakfast for our first day which spread out for two or three days. Great location for grocery shopping, etc. and close to beach. Really enjoyed watching the kite surfers. APEC was going on when we were there, so we avoided that area for the most part. We went to the North Shore on three different days to watch the surfers. It was the week before the compitition. Also, don't miss a hike up Diamond Head.

My husband and I stayed here at the end of May 2011 for 9 nights. The hosts gave perfect directions from the airport, easy to find even in the dark. The weather was quite humid so the trade winds were very pleasant and we really enjoyed the sound of the palms swaying in the breeze. Although there was air conditioning, we found it unnecessary with the windows open. The apartment was very clean and had everything you could ask for available. The one item missing was immediately supplied upon request. The bed was super comfy! It was in a nice, quiet and safe neighbourhood with easy on street parking. The location was good as we had rental car, but might be difficult to get around without one. Good grocery stores and restaurants near by. Kailua Beach was fantastic with the softest sand and terrific kayaking. Try Buzz's Steakhouse for dinner, they are busy, but delicious. We found The Shack or Pinky's for watching playoff sports very friendly. Great location for getting to the North Shore and other beautiful places on the windward side of Oahu. A very relaxing alternative to Honolulu or Waikiki. We will recommend this location to friends and family.
Owner response:We have really tried to anticipate the needs of our guests and are delighted when people enjoy the apartment, Kailua and Hawaii in general.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
