Great Cabin in the Pines!

My husband and I rented the cabin for a month this summer to escape the heat in Phoenix. It was just wonderful! The cabin is in an excellent location in the tall pines, quiet, but close to the stores and restaurants in Show Low and Lakeside-Pinetop. The place is comfortable and nicely furnished. We particularly enjoyed the large front porch where we enjoyed the cool weather and listening to the wind blow through the pines. We loved it. We'll definitely come again.

The property was very nice and well-maintained. All of the basics were provided including cooking utensils, towels and blankets. It is close enough to stores (Walmart, Safeway, Etc.) and activities to enjoy (Sunrise, bowling alley, bars), but quiet enough for a getaway. We took an adult group of 5, but it could have easily been a family trip. We will definately keep this property in mind for future vacations.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed here over New Year's weekend and it was perfect for our family. Very cozy, but yet big enough so you don't feel like you're tripping over each other! We could've stayed here for a whole month! Great board game and movie selection for the whole family and the beds were really comfortable. It was in the teens overnight but you would never know because this cabin heats up very well. We will definitely be back for another visit! Thank you!!

This cabin was a great find! We have stayed here many times and have enjoyed each visit. The cabin suited our needs perfectly. The cabin is located near great hiking and a nice lake to walk around. It was great for the "weekend snow" trips with the kids. They had a great time making snowmen in the yard, and loved having hot cocoa in the mornings. The fireplace made it very cozy to come back to after sledding and snowboarding. I love that it had everything we needed to cook with, all the bedding, the bathrooms were fully stocked with tp, shampoo etc. This made it very easy to get out of town for a relaxing weekend.

We were looking for an escape from the heat and this place looked ideal. the towels had been hung up wet and smelled awful. The oven hadn't been cleaned in years (there was so much crud on the oven door I don't know if it will ever come off) the couch was really dirty and there was food under the cushions. It was really gross. I wouldn't recommend staying here under ANY conditions.
