The listing underestimates the truly FABULOUS experience we had in this home. The master bedroom is just stunning as is the rest of the house. The picture of the view looks exactly like the one I carry on my cell phone. Coffee on the porch, watching the newly hatched birds and the "smoke" rise off the mountains (hence the name "The Smokey Mountains") was such an amazing experience. And when it was too warm during the day to sit on the porch, it was easy to sit in the living room with a cool drink and look out the expanse of windows over the Valley. Also, we didn't actually "go" to fireworks on the Fourth. We didnt need to. Sitting on the porch watching over the Valley we saw many, many fireworks. Our favorite thing to do was tubing down the river. We found two tubing places in Townsend (about 10 minutes away) and even our then-four year old had a blast! I cannot reccomend this place highly enough and the listing, while factually correct just doesn't do enough justice to the home the owners have created.

Just returned from a week's stay @ Berg Stuga with a group of friends from England, KY & Middle TN. We loved the facilities. Photo on web site do not do it justice! It was just PERFECT for our group! I've been renting cabins in the Wears Valley area for 10 or more yrs. & this has to be one of the best yet! The view from the deck & den area is absolutely breathtaking. Price for ammenities is also much better than I've been able to find thru rental companies. Wouldn't hesitate to return --- in fact, hoping very much that I can. Everyone in our group was very complimentary about the location & house, etc. A very steep driveway, but that is o.k. with me ---- just means you're AT THE TOP of the mountain! Rent this property & you won't be sorry.

We enjoyed staying at your Berg Stuga and it is our favorite place out of 10 years of renting in the Smokies! Your website did not do justice to the beauty of your cabin's interior. I knew from the site that the views would be awesome, but we were delighted with the decor as well.

We stayed at Berg Stuga for a large family gathering (16+)and had a delightful time! The setting is breath taking! The house accomodated us wonderfully, plenty of space for fixing meals, eating, sleeping and playing. We also went on several day trips in the area that we really enjoyed. Great place! We will definitely be going there again.
