  My wife and I went to the Plantation and stayed in the condo owned by Tammie. The condo was clean and had everything we needed while we stayed there. The owner Tammie was real easy to work with and very flexible. I would recommend renting from her again.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  The Gulf Shores Plantation resort was very nice. Clean, well landscaped, quiet for the most part, and the beach was clean. We have stayed in many condos. The condo was okay for a family of four but would not recommend for 6. I loved the location as it was secluded enough that we didn't feel like other families were on top of us. We do prefer to be directly over the beach not a gulf view. It was easy to pay for our week - this was our first experience renting direct from the owner. We will be visiting the Fort Morgan area again. Definitely would recommend the Shrimp Basket - good food, good prices and great services (go before 5).

  We stayed last August in this unit with my wife and 2 small boys. Condo is in a nice location near the pools and a very short walk to the beach which wasn't crowded at all. The furnishings were nice and the unit itself is kept in great condition. Also has a large indoor pool nearby and the elevator is handy when moving in/out. Only wish the building manager had mailed us the gift we accidentally left behind. Still though, had a great time and would highly recommend.

  We spent our 2011 Family Summer Vacation at this condo. LOVED IT! We have two (2) teenage girls. The girls could be by the pool and have a "little" freedom without mom and dad being afraid. A fantastic family atmosphere for the entire area, both pools and beachside. Not only would I recommend staying here, we plan on staying here again soon.:-).

  We stayed in this for our 30th anniversary and it was wonderful. It has a beautiful view and all the things you would need. 2 gorgeous pools, hot tub and a quick walk to the beach on the boardwalk. Very clean and nicely decorated. We felt at home and will hopefully go back. SO many things to do nearby and great places to eat. There is even a book with things to do in the condo. I would encourage anyone who goes to Gulf Shores to stay in this great condo and ENJOY!!!!! Oh yeah, and take your camera. You won't want to miss a moment!

  Very nice unit, GREAT location. Close proximity to pool, washer/dryer, short walk to beach. Unit is very nicely furnished with all ammenities needed for a great stay. The Plantation is very kid friendly also....my five kids, ages 6-19, loved it.

  Very nice condo. Very clean with a great location to everything at the Gulf Shores plantation. The owner is a very good communicator and concerned about guests having a nice stay. The Plantation is especially nice if you like staying somewhere a little bit removed to avoid the crowds. Even at that, you are just a short drive away from eating and shopping. We will definatly stay here again and would recommend anyone give it a shot if you like a nice clean place to stay with supurb beaches, pools and scenery. A ++ Thanks !

Cancellation policy:

RENTAL DETAILS/AGREEMENT: 1) When renting from us, you are considered a personal guest of the owners; thus, you do not have to check in/check out with the Plantation Property Management reservation desk. However, you may take advantage of any amenities offered by the Plantation. When you arrive on the property, drive directly to the guard shack and tell them you are guests of the Watts in Unit 1246. Check in time is 4:00p. You can access the property earlier; however, the cleaning may not be completed. 2) Balance of the rental and fees is due ten (10) days prior to your arrival date. When the balance is received, I will contact you by phone to provide the lock box code to obtain the keys to the unit and final instructions if required. 3) PLEASE NOTE: There is an emergency key that is attached by velcro strip to the inside of the lock box. This is to remain in the lock box at ALL times when the lock box is closed. Many guests have locked themselves out and the Plantation does not have keys to our unit to ensure your privacy. There is a $20 fee for the service to come unlock the unit which is not located on site at the Plantation so it make take some time to regain access to the unit. 3) !!WARNING!! for guests with small children: potential climbing hazard with bistro table and chairs on balcony. Please supervise small children on the balcony. 4) SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE UNIT. A deep cleaning fee of $200 will be charged if this policy is broken. 5) Beach towels are not provided. Please do not take bath towels to the beach or you may be charged for replacements. 6) We request that you report any lost items or damage to the unit. If the incident is minor, you will not be charged. However, we need to be aware of any repairs or replacements that need to be completed for the next guests. 7) A few supplies are provided as a convenience to guests in the unit (e.g. hand soap, salt/pepper, diswasher liquid etc.). If you choose to use them, please provide a replacement if you use the last of the item(s). 8) Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Please ensure the following prior to departure: - All trash is removed from the unit - Remove all food from refrigerator (exception is items in owners drawer) - Ensure dishes are in the dishwasher and that it is turned on before leaving - Replace any furniture that may have been moved to its original position (cleaning service cannot move furniture) - Place cushions from balcony furniture inside Please contact me if you have questions regarding the above information.
