  We come from Alaska every year and love staying at Kamaole Sands!! But this has by far been my favorite room to stay in!! Its tucked away in the corner and is nice a quiet spot with a huge lanai and sitting area!! We truly enjoyed having dinner out there every night!! It was great to be in walking distance of the beach that was literally just right across the street :) And if we werent up to going to the beach we were able to enjoy some sun bathing down at the pool and the kids could play in the kid pool. I will make it a point to reserve this condo every year we come back! It was clean and cool and the owner even called us to make sure everything was perfect for this wonderful vacation!! Thank you so so much!!

  We had a wonderful time in this unit on our vacation. The location of the complex is wonderful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The amenities were a welcome addition. The lanai is a wonderful size and provided many peaceful mornings listening to the native birds. Words to the family travelers... stop at costco as soon as you leave the airport! This complex has amazing barbeques that are cleaned daily. The favorite activities were para glyding and ziplines. definately a must do for the adventure seekers. The location of this unit is nice as it is on the south end of Kihei and even though you can walk to some restaurants and shops, the main conjestion is farther north and makes for really enjoyable evening walks.   I've been to Maui many times and I've stayed at Kamaole Sands for at least 15 years. Many of the units I've stayed in have been completely updated but I booked this condo on the spur of the moment trip and stayed only a short time. Most of the units I've stayed in over the years weren't available and I booked this one because of the complex - not the price. I knew the caption "Wailea quality at Kihei prices" couldn't possibly be true and I was correct. It may have been recently decorated but it certainly wasn't updated at all. The only things that were fairly new were the kitchen appliances. A very misleading description for anyone that has not been to Maui. I wouldn't stay in that particular unit again nor would I recommend it to any of my friends.

  Owner response: After speaking with the guest who wrote this review she hoped that potential guests could see beyond her review and regretted what she said. Her perception of Wailea quality and mine differ so in her mind it was misleading advertising. She enjoyed her stay and would recommend the condo in the future.

  My boyfriend and I stayed for one week in this lovely condo. We were most impressed with the condo's interior...all details were tended to and it was very Hawaiian and cozy. Having two large full bathrooms was a treat also which we had not expected. The nicely appointed oversized lanai was perfect for having breakfast and feel the warm tropical breezes and see the swaying palm trees. The entire complex is well maintained and spacious. There are several large barbecues on the property which are maintained beautifully and allowed us to entertain casually and easily. The pool, hot tub and work out facility is lovely and was used by us frequently. They even had a welcome cocktail hour, hula dancing exposition and guest get together while we were there, which allowed us to comfortably interface with fellow guests and owners. I would say our favorite aspect of our stay was the beach which is right across the street, a five minute walk from the door of our condo. Every day we went snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing at the spectacular beach. Of course we also took advantage of a whale watching trip, a fun day long snorkeling trip off a live reef and saw amazing tropical fish and sea turtles. Nearby are shops and restaurants when we felt the need to get out and about. All in all it was a perfect Hawaiian vacation...thank you!

  I had such a wonderful get away with my husband to this lush paradise! The condo was exactly as pictured, clean, and quiet. It had wonderful amenities, we spent the majority of our time enjoying the beach, relaxing on the lanai, and generally enjoying the terrific ambiance. The owner was so sweet, she gave us lots of terrific ideas for activities in Maui. I highly recommend!!

  We had stayed for two weeks in April. The condo was perfect for relaxing with our own privacy. What you see in the photos of the property is what you get. Was beautiful! Roberta was a phone call away to answer any of our questions we had. The location was perfect! Walking distance to the beach and famous restuarants and shopping. Fred's Mexican was my my favorite place to Dine. Easy location for getting around in a rental car as well. Can't wait to visit again. This time will be longer than two weeks. PARADISE:)

  We had a lovely time staying in this condo with a large lanai to sit and enjoy breakfast in the morning while listening to the birds. The furniture was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Kamaole Sands staff were great and the grounds beautiful. Kamole III, one of our favorite beaches on Maui was right across the street, great for kids to swim and to watch the beautiful Maui sunsets! Shopping and some restaurants are within walking distance. The great seaside walkway in Wailea is a short drive to watch the sunset or as we got to do- which was to watch some filming of an Adam Sandler movie! Never a dull moment on Maui, only peace and beauty! Aloha!
