View from Deck and Patio - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina Accommodation Ask us about free skiing when you call to inquire about Scottish Mist! Beautiful Condo located between Banner Elk, Boone and Grandfather Mountain and only 1/2 mile to ski slopes and close to all tourist sites and will be perfect for your vacation. The view of Grandfather Mountain profile is stunning and in summer there is a lovely patio with eating area and in winter the view is open to the living room and master bedroom. The furniture is very nice and you can cuddle in the living room in front of the gas fire and look at the great view or just watch TV. The bedrooms are large and comfortable with one queen in the master suite with private bath and patio doors onto the deck. You can lounge in bed and look at the view, open the doors and enjoy the peace of the mountains. The other bedroom has twin beds and adjoining bath and offers a great place for another couple or a couple of kids. The loft also has a small sitting space and another full bed. The condo has privileges at the nearby tennis court and weight room. There are trails all around including the famous Otter Falls within walking distance. The home is decorated in a comfortable decor and offers all amenities. You will enjoy your vacation in this beautiful home. Summer temperatures average 76.5 in July and August, cooler in June and September. Condo is near great golf courses, fishing, spectacular views, all sports, close to Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Valle Crucis, Sugar Mountain, Appalachian Mountain, Hawksnest Ski Resort, Beech Mountain, gem mining, Tweetsie Railroad and rafting. Night time and early morning temperatures may require a light jacket or sweater during summer. Great shopping close by with outlet malls and wholesale furniture stores in nearby Lenoir-Hickory, NC area 45 minutes away, Charlotte one hour away. NO SMOKING, NO FRATERNITIES, NO SORORITIES, NO EXCEPTIONS. Fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, glasses, plates, etc. Very nice furnishings.
