This Palmetto Dunes Resort, Captain's Walk villa is a 3rd floor end unit and is located ON the beach and directly facing the ocean. The villa has picturesque, unobstructed views of the ocean from the balcony, just off the living room, as well as from the master bedroom. The villa is located within a quarter mile of each of the three regionally acclaimed golf courses located on Palmetto Dunes; the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course; the Arthur Hills Golf Course; and the George Fazio Golf Course. Palmetto Dunes is also home to one of the nation's top tennis resorts, Palmetto Dunes Tennis Resort which is also within walking distance.
Our Captains Walk condominium also sits across the street from the 12-mile Palmetto Dunes recreational lagoon system complete with a canoe and kayak rental center just a few hundred yards away. Great blue herons, egrets, turtles, and other wildlife are daily visitors to the lagoon. Bikes can also be rented at the rental center, and the Captains Walk pool is located oceanfront just a few steps from the beach (heated seasonally 3/15-4/30 & 10/15-11/30).
The living room features a queen sofa-sleeper, loveseat, glider rocker & two wicker sitting chairs, TV, DVD/VCR, and CD stereo. The balcony just off the living room is perfect to surf watch and/or for that first cup of coffee in the morning. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, TV, DVD, private master bath, and beautiful views of the ocean. The first guest bedroom offers two twin beds and has a private bath. The second guest bedroom also has two twin beds and has a private entrance to the third bath. The kitchen comes fully equipped including a breakfast bar w/ 3 bar stools which separates the kitchen and dining room. A separate full dining area comes with table and chairs for six.

A quiet cup of coffee in the mornings on the balcony overlooking the beach & ocean are hard to beat! But, relaxing on a very quiet stretch of the Palmetto Dunes beach or at the Oceanfront Private Captains Walk Pool each day isn't all that bad either!

My wife and I purchased this villa in the fall of 2005. We've been vacationing at Hilton Head for over 10 years now with our 3 children and look forward to our return trips every year.
