Affordable unit with ocean view across the street. Experience many different beaches in close proximity. Enjoy the private pool and lovely kids pool on the property, steps outside the door. Have a relaxing picnic around the patio tables poolside while lounging on the chaise chairs.
Just next door is the Puako Market which supplies all your grocery needs plus a liquor store and deli. They also make homemade pizza. On their patio you'll find a large bookshelf with books you may borrow. The market includes a (DVD/VHS) video rental (a player is provided in the condo). There are many world class dining options near by.
The small beach enclave of Puako has seven beach accesses and is fantastic for snorkling or diving. One beach access is just across the street. The incredible beaches of the Hapuna (Hapuna Price Hotel) and Mana Kea and also the Orchid (formerly Ritz Carlton) are minutes away by foot, bike or by car. The town of Puako has a boat landing, allowing you to also sail to the condo, a stone-throw from the beach access across the street.
This location is a true paradise with sea turtles, whales and all kinds of ocean splendor just outside the door. At the end of the road is a park with picnic tables, grills and bathrooms. This beach is also an excellent surfing spot. Near by are rentals for any and all water activities and sports. Imagine swimming with the dolphins.
Come enjoy the aloha spirit and all the Big Island has to offer. Experience the volcano with active lava flow and the National Park near the volcano. A lush jungle with spectacular waterfalls and a 14,000 foot peak you can see from the condo. You may access this mountain peak and visit its observatory or take a helicopter flight.
Climate: Puako is the sunniest spot in the Islands with only eight to eleven inches of rain a year. Average high temperatures in the winter is eighty degrees with a low around sixty-eight degrees. Summer temperatures average only five degrees to eight degrees higher.
The unit has a private patio, a master bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with two twin beds which may be pushed together.
The Puako Beach Condominiums have 35 units. A resident manager lives on site and makes certain the grounds are well maintained.
