Out on St. Croix’s serene east end, nestled in the hillside, within the gated community of Villa Madeleine you’ll find “JOY 45” a newly renovated, beautifully decorated villa. This most unique property has the luxury of its own very private 21’x12’ pool enclosed in a walled garden setting. The villa features oversized marble showers, a king Tommy Bahama bed in the master bedroom and designer Waverly bed linens in both bedrooms. 412 threadcount, 100% Egyption cotton sheets, bamboo (soft) towels. This unit has been referred to as “The Honeymoon Villa” as it is one of the most private in the community.

  • Brian, Thanks for allowing us to stay at your wonderful vacation home. "JOY 45" was the perfect home away from home for the entire month of our stay!!! (Sept 09). It was our first trip to St. Croix but I can tell you we will visit again and we will certainly stay at "JOY 45". I have traveled extensively and I do not think I have ever stayed anywhere that had everything I could possibly desire. We were both very impressed with the amount of thought and detail that went into everything from the totally stocked kitchen to the incredible music CD collection. (We spent many many hours listening to the collection and really enjoyed relaxing by the pool) I could not find a single thing lacking at "JOY 45". It was a very relaxing month and it was truly nice to return to our "home" each evening after exploring the island. The pool was a bonus as we found that we enjoyed the convenience of having our own private pool instead of having to be on a beach each day. Thanks again for allowing us to call "JOY 45" our home away from home. We look forward to another visit. Lance & Dayan Nowlin

  • As I listen to Mongoose Radio and hear Jodi from Bacchus asking us to dine there again, I just want to say that our dreams did come true with our return to Joy 45 for another wonderful visit in April. We spent 12 beautiful days using the very Private pool and just taking it easy! We especially enjoyed watching the yellow sugar birds come to the feeder outside the kitchen window...another JOYful stay and we are looking forward to the next time...each time seems better than the last, mainly due to your extra attention to details! Our bags are packed and we are ready to go back!

  • We have had the pleasure of visiting Joy 45 twice, and look forward to another visit in the future! As part of an island tour, we spend half of our honeymoon at the villa--absolutely lovely. It was private, with excellent amenities, you've thought of everything! It's a beautiful, welcoming home, and you won't want to leave.

We love the additional wall paintings that you have added since our last visit and hope we can see them in person soon! The photos-although beautiful-do NOT do the rooms justice!
