Do you love Films and Rock music? Congratulations! You’ve discovered one of the most unusual luxury vacation homes anywhere. Our theme is "The American Dream" and we've tastefully decorated to celebrate our favourite icons, from Heroes of Rock 'n Roll to Hollywood Stars. 7 bedrooms (sleeps 16) 4.5 bathrooms, South facing (sunny all day) with private Heated Pool and Jacuzzi, at the award winning Emerald Island Gated Resort, Kissimmee.
We're a convenient 5 minutes from Disney, 30 minutes from the main airport and a short hop from most of the famous Theme Parks and numerous Golf courses - you couldn't be better located! Our home is perfect for the larger family or smaller groups of families and friends sharing, and you'll love the unique Rock 'n Roll / Hollywood fun “vibe”
With over 4,200 square feet (including extended deck) and plenty of loungers and shades for sun worshippers, we've put a 20" TV and DVD player in each of the 7 bedrooms. We have Full Air Conditioning including the Games room, where children of all ages will enjoy Air Hockey, Foosball, Table Tennis, PS2, Children’s Bicycles etc. Take full advantage of free International calls to phone home and tell your friends what a great time you’re having! We have Cable TV, a vast open plan Family Room with 55" TV, DVD and Surround Sound (sounds awesome!) & DVD library of over 50 discs. Free Internet Broadband too – just bring your WiFi enabled laptop.
All linen and towels are provided and in the Laundry room you’ll find a Washer, Dryer, Hair Dryers and Ironing facilities. Each bedroom has it’s own unique theme and includes two private Master en-suites : In the bedrooms you’ll find 1 King sized bed, 3 Queens, 4 Twins and 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4 in this room) For our youngest guests we have 2 Strollers, 2 Highchairs, 2 Portable Cribs, stair safety gates, intercom and patio door Pool safety alarms.
You'll love the extensively equipped Kitchen with its' own intimate Nook area (which usually turns into a social gathering place as well as an eating area) where you can watch the underwater pool lights change colour at night – Magical!
Dine in style in the formal Dining area, eat "al fresco" round the Pool or just enjoy a well earned glass of wine in the heated Jacuzzi at midnight while you plan the next days’ outings. And after all the excitement of the day if you prefer some peace and quiet, just head for the privacy of the cosy lounge at the front of the house, away from all the action. You'll find amazing original portraits, a unique mural, fascinating pictures and incredible giant sculptures throughout the home.

- As well as easy access to all the famous Theme Parks and attractions nearby, there is so much to see and do you could holiday here for year after year and never see it all. The beach and Kennedy Space Centre are about an hour away. Nearby are Discovery Cove (fancy a swim with the dolphins?) and Everglades Air Boat Adventure Rides, or maybe you’d like to get up close and personal with an Alligator at Gatorland? And in the evenings join in the fun at a themed restaurant : Medieval, Arabian Nights, Murder Mystery and many more. And just a few minutes away from Emerald Island are an Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel, Giovanni's Pizza, Golden Corral, Grocery store and Pharmacy.

Why the Owner Chose Emerald Island Resort
Emerald Island is a beautiful Gated Enclosure complete with Lakes and a Nature Trail, just 5 minutes from Disney and very close to the Theme Parks (Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, etc) - you couldn't be in a better location. The nearby Highway 192 houses Restaurants of all types and we're located so centrally that you're right on top of just about anything you might need, from a Medieval Banquet to Wal Mart!
The Unique Benefits at this House
There are many beautiful houses in Orlando but we wanted to try and create a themed home with a difference. We chose a "Hollywood / Rock 'n Roll" theme because it's unusual, it's luxurious and most of, it's a lot of fun! We have tastefully decorated with amazing giant sculptures, original paintings and rock 'n roll memorabilia - It's a most unusual home! Our “Hollywood Rock 'n Roll ” home is owned by myself, Mark Dawson and my wife Debbie, and we both live and work in London, England. I work in the Music Business and have run a recording studio for over 30 years (hence the musical theme!) and Debbie is an Antiques Trader specialising in Teddy Bears who is also currently studying for a Law Degree. I first fell in love with America when I visited it as a teenager on a school trip, and we are very fortunate to have now realised a lifetimes’ ambition by owning our very own vacation home in Orlando.

Great location close to everything one could possibly need from grocery stores to good restaurants (especially The Outback!) and fast food. Disneyworld is easy to find from this location as are other theme parks such as Universal Studios. The house is perfect for families and the pool area awesome. The grandkids loved the table tennis and air hockey! The owners were super friendly and very easy to deal with. The Hart family.

We were delighted with our experience in this house! The location was perfect for our "park hopping," and it was a treat to have enough space for the entire family. Stayed at the house for a family vacation/reunion. We had four families, 4 kids and 8 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots to do both within the confines of the home and surrounding area. Location was perfect for access to the many attractions in the area. Had a GREAT TIME !!

Our recent trip to Orlando was highlighted by our stay at the Hollywood Rock ‘n Roll house. The location is ideal so If you don’t want to cook in the well-equipped kitchen, there are plenty of restaurants just a couple miles away. The property is well kept, clean and beautifully decorated. When it came time to relax we not only had the pool, hot tub and the game room, but there are also video games and a good choice of movies to choose from. It is so nice having plenty of space for everyone. The description of amenities were accurate so I knew I did not have to pack a hair dryer, stroller or a “pack n play”. Great house, Mark and Debbie, and thanks for the quick return of my deposit! This house will be our accommodations choice for all future trips to Orlando.

What they offered is exactly what we find in the house, the location was excellent and we felt very safe to be inside a condominium. The house was perfectly clean and well maintained, everything worked perfectly and the owner gave us an excellent deal. We felt like home all together, definitely I would recommend this house to others.

We enjoyed this home so much! It was very clean and well kept. The accommodations met our every need, from the well equipped kitchen to the fun-filled game room. We would very much recommend this home for a large group. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our needs and there was ample room in the downstairs areas for everyone to hang out and enjoy some rest and relaxation.

The house was everything as described. This was our 5th trip to Disney and by far the best! We loved having this spacious house for the 9 of us. The kids would come back from the Disney Parks and hit the swimming pool and then off to the game room. It's a perfect location! Thanks for renting your house to us. We would not hesitate to rent this house again.

Our four-generation family found something for everyone at this wonderful, well-equipped, uniquely decorated home! The youngest generation loved the pool and hot tub! The oldest generation appreciated the ground-floor master bedroom suite with its own luxurious bathroom! The young adults appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and linen closets, the game room, and the proximity to Disney! And the second-oldest generation appreciated that everyone was so happy at such good value!

Eight of us met in Orlando to celebrate our 45th High School Reunion. We graduated from an all girl Catholic school in NH and we wanted to do something special for the occassion. The house was very memorable of the era we so enjoyed plus it accomodated us beyond expectation. Never having rented through the internet I was very hesitant on booking this rental. The reviews and the correspondence with Mark and Debbie helped tremendously. The first night we arrived we had a minor problem with the smoke detectors. Without the management company being opened I was nervous that we would not receive the attention needed. Both the management company and Mark responded to my email quickly and resolved the situation. Even though the management company notified Mark that they were handling the situation, Mark continued to corresponded with me even after the situation had been rectified. The property is close to all major attractions and the pool is very relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We were very pleased with the accomodations and would certainly recommend to anyone considering a stay. Mark & Debbie are very gracious hosts even though miles away.
