Our Condo is on the First Floor, So it is easy to carry ski equipment, luggage or groceries in or out. We thought of everything! We have fixed beds that sleep 4 adults, no pulling out uncomfortable sleeper sofas or murphy beds. Have you ever slept on a sleeper sofa and been well rested? Stay with us and have plenty of room and all the comforts at the same time.
This studio is in the heart of South Breckenridge, the best side of Town. We are an easy sloping walk, 200 yards from the high-speed(six-person) Quicksilver ski lift and ski center. No need for a car when we are just one block from fabulous shopping and dozens of great restaurants. Main Street Station (created by Hilton)is a new shopping center located one block from us, with live bands playing on the plaza in the Summer and a Farmers Market for all those one of a kind souvenirs to take back home. Or just relax by the open pit fire and stare into the millions of stars in the great open Colorado sky.
The condominium has sleeping accommodations for up to five. We put in a totally new very complete kitchen, a new tiled bath and shower, brand new carpet and furniture. WE DID A TOTAL REMODEL. Off the living room we have a small porch/balcony. There is a set of two bunk beds (double-sized, sleeps 4) and an extra air mattress, for those single sleepers(or 5th person). It is a perfect rental for a couple, a small family up to five, or good friends who want more privacy than they would have sharing a hotel room with all the fun the slopes/town can provide.
Everyone who has ever been to Breckenridge knows it is the perfect vacation spot. Everything you could ask for is here. Wonderful skiing/snowboarding,in Winter; and golf, hiking, exploring, swimming, fishing, and lots more in Summer; plus great restaurants and shopping in beautiful, historical Breckenridge.
After skiing; or in the Summer, hiking, biking; soak in one of the four large, hot tubs [two inside, two outside], or heated [83 degree] pool, all on the premises, including a clubhouse with lockers.

Why the Owner Chose Motherlode
We chose this condo because of the great location. We are so close to the peak 9 lifts and just about the same distance to main street and all the action. Even when our kids were only 3 and 5 they were able to walk to and from the lifts without any tears. We love this place and always enjoy visiting any time of year.

The condo is very nice and close to the slopes. I was a little disappointed that it did not have a tub, but the shower was very nice. The condo was clean and cozy and the owner was very helpful with any questions. I would recommend this to a friend.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

I stayed here multiple times in 2010/2011. Owner did a very good job of remodeling inside. Double queen bunk really comes in handy. Contrary to other posts I like the dark curtains because they keep the outside parking and street lights from distracting your sleep. The condo sleeps 4 comfortably and you can add additional on the floor witha blow up mattress if needed, though it would be very tight with more than 4. Fireplace kick the temp up pretty quick and heated towel rack is a nice touch.

My husband and I stayed here in January 2006 and it was THE BEST experience of our entire 2 months travelling around Colorado. The condo is basic and not flash, but the owner was excellent in leaving notes for us everywhere about how to use the buses, how to get to the mountain, what places to eat at etc. So very kind and something you just don't get usually. Although the bed wasn't too comfortable, we still managed to sleep and the place in general is very cosy. The location though is what you want it for - perfect.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Condo was very pleasant and comfortable. Nice contemporary decor. Loved the bathroom. However the curtains made the place a bit dark. Other than that, everything was great.

Had a very nice stay in mid January. Condo was perfect for 3 good friends. Plenty of room for our ski vacation. Close walk to Quick Silver lift, very convient for coming back to condo for lunch. Close to main street restuarants and bars.

Our stay March 31 to April 3, 2007 was very nice. The bath and kitchen are beautiful. The beds are comfortable. The sliding door curtains are a poor choice as it makes the place too dark.They detract from otherwise nice decor! Also the deck would be better cleaned up. Otherwise it was great.
