Over 20 years ago we found our home away from home and now are offering to share it with you. Overlooking 200 feet of private sandy lake frontage on Big Spider Lake, a Class "A" musky lake, part of a chain of additional lakes - Clear, Fawn, North, and Little Spider. Our "retreat" is located at the end of a dead end road providing you with a quiet place to enjoy your vacation.
Summer offers islands to explore, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, tubing, and water-skiing on the lake. With fall the changing colors herald the hunting season. Winter brings cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and playing in the snow. Spring is a beautiful quiet time on the lake. If you have had to much quiet time the lovely town of Hayward offers shopping, restaurants, movies, and activities for all ages. CD player and TV with DVD player has surround sound. A library of music CD's and DVD's are available for your use.
Just finished upper level has three bedrooms, full bath with spa tub, and additional half bath with laundry facilities. The wood burning fireplace surrounded by books is the perfect place to curl up in front of at the end of the day. Our gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops and everything you need to cook your favorite meal. If cooking is not part of your vacation plans there are numerous restaurants nearby.
Two bedrooms with queen-size beds, one bedroom with king-size bed plus 2 large couches in living room area offer sleeping accommodations for up to eight. With West-facing windows and large outdoor deck overlooking the lake, you have your choice of spots to enjoy your morning beverage. Skylights throughout bring in natural light and a chance to watch the stars before you go to sleep.
A 14 foot fiberglass fishing boat and newer 5 hp Nissan motor available for rent, $45 per day or $300 per week. Pets are welcome. An additional $150 damage deposit is required. Deposit will be refunded if no additional cleaning is required. Pets must be under your control at all times.

2011 Memorial Day Thru Labor Day Rates ... $1800/week.
2011-12 September Thru May Rates ... $300/night, 3 night min.. $1200/week.
$500 Damage Deposit required to hold reservation. Additional $150 for pets.
Deposits 100% refunded if reservation cancelled 60 days prior, 50% 30 days prior.
No refunds for cancellations less than 30 days. Deposit refunded 10 days
after stay if no damage. Weekly reservations are from Sat. to Sat.
Check in at 3:00 PM. Check out at 10:00 AM.
Rates for 6 person occupancy. $50 each additional. Max. 8 person occupancy.

Fabulous time at this lovely lake home..Well equipped in every way--beautiful updated bathroom and kitchen----clean clear lake with sandy bottom---Lots of nature to enjoy---eagles, heron, humming-birds-chipmunks, and lots of bass...some perch --found no muskies----or walleyes--Happy Hookers bait shop well equipped.. Great meal at Chippewa Inn--Torreys closed for repair--Anglers in Hayward good also. Dwight --handyman-- most helpful and nice...answers all your questions of "history" of area... Have made reservations for 2012 already..Deb and Bill very nice to work with---Thanks for sharing your home...Mary-------Loved the deck too for star gazing and relaxing with books or cocktails....
