  My husband, son and I stayed in Terry Kay's Timber Treat Cabin. It was just wonderful. The cabin had every amenity you could need. It was obviously cared for and a clean. The location was minutes to just about anything you could possibly want to do. We felt safe and comfortable. We would recommend this cabin to anyone interested in visiting Pigeon Forge. It was a great experience!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Let me just say that we spent a long weekend at this cabin and it was so wonderful. It makes you feel like you are away from everyone else yet you can get in your car and be to the Pigeon Forge strip in minutes. A few times I needed to get some things from the grocery store and within a few minutes I was in Kroger parking lot, how nice is that? You can also take the main road 321 the other way and be in the Wears Valley area and a different entrance, other than going through Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg traffic, to The Great Smokey Mountain National Park and Cades Cove in minutes with a beautiful drive. The cabin felt like home from the start and had everything you need to be comfortable. It is so cozy and clean. All the rooms have TV's and me being a man I was very happy watching my Chicago Cubs on the huge flatscreen while my daughter had her own room to watch Spongebob and another flatscreen in the master room. The pool table is great and enjoyed all my evenings after the days activities in the large hot tub. We were also able to bring our dog which made it very nice for us. The road getting to this place is awesome, thought I was lost at first because you honestly go straight up a mountain to get there, amazing. We also met the neighbors and they were all so nice and felt very comfortable walking around and just hanging out at the house, it is always nice to have good clean people around you when you rent. The pictures do not really show how big the rooms are and what the place has to offer, it is perfect and will go back again. We had never been to the Smokey Mountains and had no idea with all the cabin rental places that we would find this place and how easy Terry and Tim made it for us. They were always available when we needed them and went out of their way to create great communication between us and them. I highly recommend booking your vacation rental through Terry and Tim if you want to make your trip easier and deal with the real owners of the property. They have a very nice place here in Heaven's Door and will recommend to everyone, except I will be quiet and not tell anyone when I want to go back in the fall time, because I want this cabin again.

  This was our first time visiting the Smokies. This cabin was perfect, relaxing, cozy. It has everything we needed. Our son loved the pool table and hot tub. We will be back and can't wait to stay in another of your cabins. Heavens Door is the perfect name for this cabin! It truly is heaven on earth! Thank you, Robyn, Bill, and Brandon Lafayette, Ga.

  When my son and his family asked me to go on vacation with them we were all so excited to take a trip for a week. Your cabin was everything we expected and more. We felt so at home here and enjoyed being so clost to the things we wanted to visit and then come back to such a homey place. We couldn't have asked for more and hiope to be back soon.   I think we just found a little bit of heaven on earth. This is the first time we have stayed in the cabins, we have fallen in love and will be back. We came to meet my daughter and her husband-both in the service stationed in Georgia-he just came back from Iraq. What a great weekend we have had, could not ask for a more perfect atmosphere to unwind. The cabin was close to all the places we wanted to see and yet so far as to be almost secluded and that made it all the better. Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin with us.   The cabin had everything it stated and more (very peaceful setting). We had 3 children (Ages 10, 8 and 5), my mom who has some disabilities, our dog and of course my husband and I. There was plenty of room. The property was very clean and the Owners were quite gracious. They left us a holiday gift and they were very attentive, when we had to call for garbage pickup. Otherwise, they left us alone up on the mountain. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone. The only drawback to the cabin (which the owners cannot control) was the "Parkway" in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. During holidays, it is very crowded so be prepared to sit in traffic. If you have children, Wonderworks is a wonderful attraction. You can go early and stay all day! If you like horseback riding, I would recommend Five Oaks Riding Stables. Both places are located right off the Parkway. We hope to visit this cabin again in the Summer. To the Owners, thank you for the wonderful stay.
