  The house was just as promised. The ocean view was wonderful and the house was beautiful. All of our interactions with the owner and manager were good and they were very attentive. The house had everything we could have thought of and more. We would recommend this house for anyone wanting to stay on the North Shore. We hope to return someday!

  Warm, comfortable, relaxing and a so very inviting place! Loved the view of the ocean, the whales breaching less than a mile away and the sea turtles just below the sea wall to black crabs crawling about. With sky divers parachuting just above the house, what a spectacular place!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  Property is well maintained with updated kitchen and baths. Nice yard and patio furniture. Located right on the water but not able to go down to the water due to strong winter waves- maybe in the summer you can get direct access to the ocean from the property. Fun to watch the waves crash up and over the sea wall but a bit noisy at night. Neighbors were very quiet. BBQ is a bit old but works. Property manager was helpful when needed. Overall the property was enjoyable. We had 2 parents and 3 teenagers. Property is big enough so that we did not feel we were crammed in. Airfield across the street is not intrusive and offers thrill-seekers the chance to skydive or take a glider ride. Also makes for a great place to take long run/walk without traffic. Local towns were fun and offer everything you need for groceries, dining out or water sports rentals.

  Nothing can beat the view of the north shore from this house. This house is really nicely appointed with good cooking equipment (including grill, pans, coffee maker), appliances, TV and nice bathrooms. The outdoor shower is great and looks out over an amazing ocean view. The air conditioning will cool the house down in minutes. (Although be aware that one bedroom does not have an air conditioning unit in the room, but has a fan and is easily cooled by the other units.) Be sure to check out the beach down the road past the airfield. We enjoyed watching the sky divers and the occasional sea turtle. Surfing is the thing around the area, but we loved staying here for the great local food and to live like locals. It is a bit of a drive (30-40 minutes) to popular tourist attractions like Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian cultural center, but we found driving across the island to be a great part of our visit. The management company was responsive and helpful even when we checked in on Thanksgiving day, and the information left for us was great.

  This home is a great place to relax, listen to the waves and enjoy that spectacular view!! The owner and property manager were very friendly and helpful. The house was pretty much as pictured! The house was for the most part, very clean and tidy. The air conditioners work wonderful, on our visit it was very humid! Nothing beats the views out of the master bedroom, living room/kitchen area - ocean all day!!! Enjoyed watching for turtles, lil crabbies, wild ferrets and occasionally watching the skydivers above you (funny to hear them scream..lol). There is a great place to watch the kite surfers just a little ways down the road. We would definately stay here again! It was nice being away from civilization! Thank you Debbie!!

  My family and I stayed at the Mokuleia property July 11-July 19. The house is fully equipped with the small necessities that I had over looked, such as, a sponge to wash dishes, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and bottles and bottles of sunscreen! There are no markets within walking distances, so having these small treasures awaiting you, was a nice surprise! The house is nicely furnished and lots of trade winds to come through the house. All dealings with Debbie and Marty were quick responses and easy dealings! Thank you for sharing your house!! Rose, Ed, Juju and Cheech!

  Had a great stay up on the North Shore in early May 2012. Mokuleia was just what we were looking for: a nice quiet area of Oahu, but one that was not too far removed from a town with restaurants and shops. Haleiwa is about 10 minutes away and has some nice shops and restaurants. The house was also close to many beautiful beaches, including Hidden Beach, which was a bit off the beaten path on the North Shore, but well worth it. The house itself is beautiful, and everything is as described by the owner. The small beach outside was great during the morning, at least when we were there. During the afternoon and at night, it got a little rougher, but you could still swim out there if you wanted. The man made steps out back to get down to the water were a little tricky, but we had no problem. And of course, a regular path to the water is just a few minutes walk away. As for the turtles, we saw plenty of them right out back of the house, and even came across a few while snorkeling out back. All in all, we had a great time staying on and exploring the North Shore. Next time we come back to Oahu, it will definitely be on the North Shore, and hopefully at this beautiful house. Mahalo!

  This venue is awesome, the view, the home, the cleanliness, everything was top of the line. Except the so called beach access, I would never go down those rock steps, too steep and dangerous. So in our mind there is no beach access for most normal folks. But we loved the place and hope to return. Mary Francis Hoffman
