This July we totally updated the unit: new flooring, paint, new fine linens, and tropical decor.

Perfectly situated next to the pool, spa and BBQ area, and near the tennis court and air conditioned fitness center, our spacious two bedroom, two and a half bath luxury townhouse style villa boasts 1847 square feet including two expansive lanais and an attached garage. It is just the place for families, couples traveling together, and even honeymooners seeking a romantic escape.

Gated Waikoloa Colony Villas is both the top tier and the lowest density complex in the exclusive Waikoloa Beach Resort, which Conde Nast Traveller rated as one of the top 25 Pacific Rim resorts. It is ideally located on the Kohala Coast, which offers the best beaches and weather on the island. It should be noted that this is not the same locale as Waikoloa Village which lies eight miles inland.

CASUAL AND COMFORTABLE DÉCOR.

Our well appointed villa combines casual yet upscale furniture with an island flavor, conveying the spirit of aloha. We provide TVs, VCR and DVD. The condo is equipped with a high speed wireless internet network. We also provide free local and long distance phone calls via Vonage. Our villa, which was built by award winning developer Stanford Carr, boasts 19 foot ceilings in the living room, expansive windows, and unique architectural details. It is set among acres of tropical landscaping with hundreds of palms.

Enjoy the privacy offered by the two bedrooms, both of which are located upstairs, each with its own full bath. The master suite is outfitted with an inviting king-size bed with quality linens. It has a large lanai which overlooks the waterfalls and pool. The expansive master bath features marble counters, twin sinks, a soaking tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom is appointed with a fine queen-size bed and quality linens. Additional guests are accommodated with a quality queen-size convertable sofa.

In Waikoloa Colony Villas, you will have a variety of activities at your disposal to please the whole crowd. WCV is situated within the Waikoloa Beach Resort which a 1350 acre ocean side resort which encompasses a wide variety of facilities.

The villa is located next to WCV's fantastic lava rock waterfall, pool and spa. There is also an additional pool close by which is equipped with an 18 inch deep toddler's area. Also nearby is the tennis court and the air-conditioned fitness center.

A short walk away at Anaeho'omalu or "A Bay" are some of the island's most beautiful white sand beaches. From there you can engage in a variety of ocean sports.

If world class golf courses are what suits you, then you won't be disappointed. Waikaloa has two championship golf course that offer unparalleled opportunities for golfers of all levels.   • Wow! What an awesome place to stay on our first vacation to Hawaii! The townhouse was perfect....beautifully decorated, very accommodating with a lot of extras. We were able to spend a couple of days just enjoying the villa. Everything was convenient, relaxing and comfortable. If (when) I get to go again, I will definitely be staying here!   • Thank You Mack & Shanna! Our first trip to the Big Island was wonderful. I can't say enough about the beauty of the unit, resort and island. My family and I enjoyed our first trip to Hawaii as well as celebrating our twentieth anniversary. Spent two weeks on the Islands, one week of site seeing and the second relaxing at Waikoloa Colony Villas. The unit is in impeccable shape and offers every imaginable comfort item needed away from home. It is large enough to comfortably accommodate any family. The huge kitchen allows for dinner at home. The seafood from the Queen’s market was wonderful, we recommend the ono and sea scallops. Our eleven-year-old daughter really enjoyed the proximity of the pool. Literally steps from the lanai. Snorkeling in the "A" Bay was another plus. The sea turtles swim along with you and sea life is spectacular. We had a super vacation and we will definitely stay in 1904 on our return trip. We are more than happy to share our Big Island top picks with anyone interested in staying. We replaced the dishwasher this year and updated some of the kitchen inventory. I am biased, but I love the place! The resort is amazing as well.

  • All the comforts of your own home except you are in Hawaii. This is absolutely the case when staying at this fully stocked villa. This was our first vacation with our 9 month old and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The villa had all of the baby necessities we needed, what a relief. On top of that, everything else was just gravy! The gorgeous property grounds, the location to the fabulous pool and bbq area, the proximity to the Kings and Queens shops. It would be easy to get caught up at this great place and forget to visit the beautiful island. But after a long day traveling around you couldn't be any more fortunate to be coming back to 1904. Sitting out on the patio watching the enchanting blue lighting of the pool bounce off the swaying palm trees. Need I say more? Thanks so much Mack and Shanna, you made our first family trip a positive one.

  • We had one of the most enjoyable vacations ever, when we stayed at this superbly located and equipped home in November. This condo is beautifully furnished and equipped with high quality furnishings and fixtures and everything you could ever require on a vacation. The pictues here only tell half the story, this is a large and extremely comfortable place to stay, if your house is this nice you would be very happy - there is also a garage to park your car in. From beach chairs to coolers - everything you need to enjoy your vacation is here. I particularly liked the guide books and other useful information that was at hand. The location within the facility is great, the convenience to the pool will be a great benefit to anyone with kids, proximity to the barbeque was great for cooking dinner. The entire complex is superbly designed and maintained. Very quiet and relaxing no noise or partying going on. There are stores close by, so you can buy your all your basic household requirements without going far, as well as a food court, for reasonably priced eating. There is a Costco in Kona - so you can buy EVERYTHING you need in one stop at Mainland prices. This is a huge benefit for a family vacation, they also sell gas at Mainland prices - although it sometimes seems that everyone on the Big Island is there at the same time! There are any number of great beaches and snorkelling spots close by. We saw and swam with Turtles every day of our vacation. This area had some of the best snorkelling I have ever experienced, with nice safe locations for families and kids. All were within a 20 minute drive from the unit. The highlight of our trip was snorkelling at the Captain Cook monument - you need to go and do this. Rent a Kayak and paddle across the bay (all very easy) and enjoy one of the most amazing snorkelling adventures that is available anywhere in the world - this was truly the highlight of our trip. The bay is full of spinner dolphins, the views incredible. There are various Kayak rental places right at the launch spot and the guy who I rented from described it as "swimming in an aquarium" - he was absolutely right - what a fabulous adventure. I have nothing but positive memories for every part of this vacation on the Big Island. So much so, we are going back in March - but this time with kids. Unfortunately this unit is not available, so we will be reviewing another one within Waikaloa Colony in the next month. Great vacation. Totally recommended. Fabulous place to stay.

  • I was treated to 10 days on the Big Island at 1904 Waikoloa Colony Vistas for my 50th birthday and it was a SURPRISE! The unit and its location around the pool are superb. I would give the entire experience a resounding 10. I am a cook and it was such a pleasure to have everything needed at hand. A very well thought out and organized condo. We're already planning repeat trips. Thank you for everything.

  • My husband and I absolutely loved this impeccably maintained condo and all its many amenities, from its prime location next to the pool, the tasteful décor and all the comfortable accessories that made it feel like a home. The owners’ gracious hospitality is reflected in every detail from the beautifully decorated rooms, super - comfortable beds, the huge master bathroom, a well stocked kitchen, DVD and video game players in every room and many thoughtful items for families with children. We rented the condo for a month on the Big Island and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend it and consider staying here again in the future.

  • October 2008 Shanna and Mack, Had another great stay at your Colony Villa condo. It has always been in great shape and the updates you did over the summer make it even nicer. We have stayed in a couple of other units at the complex when yours was not available and they don't come close to having the amenities that you provide. Your unit easily has the best location overlooking the pool and being so close to the barbeques and exercise room. Thanks for another great stay! Tom & Lori

    We just got back from a three week stay. We love our unit and location. We did several updates to the unit: new towels, new paint, new floors, and added ammenities. It's such a great place with or without children. We have a 5 and 7 year old, so there are games, dvds, books, beach toys, and more. My husband and I have the place very tropical and romantic! Don't hestitate to contact us or any of our past guests.

  • This is a great villa! Very comfortable and quiet, a great location near the pool, and within the privacy of the Waikoloa Colony Villas community. This unit has been very well maintained. This unit is perfect for families with children, and even great for just a couple (like my wife and me) looking for an upscale experience. We whole-heartedly recommend this property.
