At our villa, Hale Lua Wai, you can listen to the soothing sounds and enjoy the beautiful view of Waikoloa Colony Villa's unique lava rock waterfall and pool. Our new luxury retreat will keep you captivated with panoramic views of the dramatic Kohala Mountains and Maui.
This July we totally updated the unit: new flooring, paint, new fine linens, and tropical decor.
Perfectly situated next to the pool, spa and BBQ area, and near the tennis court and air conditioned fitness center, our spacious two bedroom, two and a half bath luxury townhouse style villa boasts 1847 square feet including two expansive lanais and an attached garage. It is just the place for families, couples traveling together, and even honeymooners seeking a romantic escape.
Gated Waikoloa Colony Villas is both the top tier and the lowest density complex in the exclusive Waikoloa Beach Resort, which Conde Nast Traveller rated as one of the top 25 Pacific Rim resorts. It is ideally located on the Kohala Coast, which offers the best beaches and weather on the island. It should be noted that this is not the same locale as Waikoloa Village which lies eight miles inland.
CASUAL AND COMFORTABLE DÉCOR.
Our well appointed villa combines casual yet upscale furniture with an island flavor, conveying the spirit of aloha. We provide TVs, VCR and DVD. The condo is equipped with a high speed wireless internet network. We also provide free local and long distance phone calls via Vonage. Our villa, which was built by award winning developer Stanford Carr, boasts 19 foot ceilings in the living room, expansive windows, and unique architectural details. It is set among acres of tropical landscaping with hundreds of palms.
Enjoy the privacy offered by the two bedrooms, both of which are located upstairs, each with its own full bath. The master suite is outfitted with an inviting king-size bed with quality linens. It has a large lanai which overlooks the waterfalls and pool. The expansive master bath features marble counters, twin sinks, a soaking tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom is appointed with a fine queen-size bed and quality linens. Additional guests are accommodated with a quality queen-size convertable sofa.

In Waikoloa Colony Villas, you will have a variety of activities at your disposal to please the whole crowd. WCV is situated within the Waikoloa Beach Resort which a 1350 acre ocean side resort which encompasses a wide variety of facilities.
The villa is located next to WCV's fantastic lava rock waterfall, pool and spa. There is also an additional pool close by which is equipped with an 18 inch deep toddler's area. Also nearby is the tennis court and the air-conditioned fitness center.
A short walk away at Anaeho'omalu or "A Bay" are some of the island's most beautiful white sand beaches. From there you can engage in a variety of ocean sports.
If world class golf courses are what suits you, then you won't be disappointed. Waikaloa has two championship golf course that offer unparalleled opportunities for golfers of all levels. There is the classic Robert Trent Jones Jr. course, known as "The Beach Course," and the Tom Weiskof designed links course, known as "The King's Course." This particular unit is perfectly located (next to pool, rec center, tennis courts, and away from busy streets and construction. The resort location is pefect as well: beautiful weather and lots to do!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The resort has some of the best Big Island Shopping and resturants; it is central to a lot of great destinations, and the resort has many sidewalks and trails for walking, running, and hiking.
Owner's Map of Waikoloa Colony Villas
The villa is not just a rental for us (Mack and Shanna), it is where we intend to retire to. As such, we take great pride in the unit. It is in a prime location in the Waikoloa Colony Villas complex, which is located within the Waikoloa Beach Resort. The villa is perfectly located in the complex: steps from the main pool, recreation center, fitness room and BBQ area; across the street from the tennis courts and is well away from any on-going construction. In addition, the resort has two world class golf courses, two wonderful shopping centers, and two major hotels with lots to do – even a luau! We fell in love with the Big Island for our fifth year wedding anniversary, and we decided it is paradise and where we visit every year and hope to eventually retire to one day. Until then, we are sharing the magic!
